Rose Cottage, a traditional countryside cottage situated just outside the North Devon town of Barnstaple in North Devon. With sloping ceilings and plenty of period charm throughout, this dog friendly two storey self catering cottage comfortably sleeps 4 in two bedrooms in a lovely rural location.

Old world charm country cottage , good size rooms . Limited access to upstairs. Staircase steep not suitable for the elderly.
Quiet location with good access for parking but only limited roadway to cottage. I.e only room for one car on roadway on lane.

Enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage which is clean and comfortable.
Cottage is located in lovely rural setting but within easy car travel distance to most of North Devon attractions. Beds very comfortable and good to have 2 bathrooms in cottage each with bath and shower. Also, good to have a smart TV in lounge to connect via our laptop to watch Netflix.
Booking via "My favourite holiday cottages" was quick and simple with good customer service.

A lovely place to stay, and at only 8 hours notice, a really good service.
Everything was clean tidy comfortable cosy and just what we wanted.
Only ? I had was how to deal with rubbish as each council seems to have a different collection policy, and it was not clear.
This is easily rectified.

An adorable cottage, ideally situated for a North Devon touring break. Lovely and cosy when poor weather kept us indoors.

We had a wonderful stay ar Rose cottage .
It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.
The beds were very comfortable indeed for a cosy nights sleep.
The kitchen was bigger than we thought and very comfortable for cosy meals at the table
The garden was lovely for sitting out in and relaxing.
The bath was absolutely gorgeous fir soaking in .

Beautiful quiet property, with easy access to beaches and Exmoor. Nearest shops Barnstaple local pub not accommodating. Excellent reference folder available in cottage, just missing information on bins and recycling. Perfect cottages professional to book with.
