Location: Elounda, North East Coast of Crete 75 KMs approx 1 hour from Heraklion Airport
Description: This generously spaced suite offers a living area of approximately 85m2 consisting of a master COCO-MAT queen-bedded room and a living room with two comfortable COCO-MAT single sofa beds that can accommodate up to two children. Both rooms benefit from direct access to the bathroom for added comfort and privacy. All Family suites come with all premium amenities you would expect such as fine linen, soft cotton sheets, plush microfiber bathrobes and slippers, and luxury bathroom Korres products. This Family Suite has 1 Queen Bed and two sofa beds.
Standard Half Board Inclusions
Consists of daily American Buffet Breakfast and a daily International Buffet Dinner both served in Tholos Restaurant (main restaurant). Drinks not included.
Occupancy: The price stated here is based upon 2 Adults and 2 Children up to 11.99 years sharing a Family Suite with Sea Views and outdoor heated Jacuzzi on a Half Board basis. This Family Suite may accept 2 Adults plus 2 Children up to 11.99 years or 3 Adults and 1 Child. Extra charges may apply.

Beautiful location but NOT 5 star food or service

We have spent a wonderful week here and the spot is beautiful with a very child friendly beach area with calm shallow waters. The food is absolutely not 5 star and the service is akin to Fawlty Towers at times with managers in suits marching round the buffet area with hands on hips visibly chastising hardworking but totally inexperienced waiters. And these suits don't engage with the guests at all, they are just frantically auditing and policing the buffet. Some waiters were friendly but inexperienced whilst some were downright rude.
This place could make a fortune if they had the sense to ask you if you would like a drink but getting served drinks round the pool, beach or in restaurants is very difficult! Instead they constantly intrude your meal by clearing plates dozens of times a meal.
Overall we have had a very relaxing stay and some staff were warm and friendly and fab with the kids. It's a really beautiful place but staff need training and the food is at best average.
