We’ve been to Rural Roosts several times. This time we saw a few changes which made our stay better.
Just arrived back from another great stay. Lodges are all well equipped and spotlessly clean there's even a lemon cake and biscuits for the dog left in lodge for you. The walks are brilliant our dog rocky loves his walks round the reservoir. The fishing is good and lakes are well maintained Can't wait to return you all do a great job
enjoyed just under a week in lovely surroundings lodge was excellent fishing good relaxing time looking forward to coming back, got ouir shopping delivered by tesco which is very helpful local shops nearby only a 5min drive.
There is nothing to say about rural roosts except its 5 star hidden gem . Fab place friendly staff who work very hard
Thank you Katie and Tim for another great stay at Rural Roost, so peaceful and restful a lovely 10 day break again. Fishing quite good not caught the 20lb one yet! I will keep trying they are in there. The George at Langworth a very good Sunday Roast, Carpenters at Fiskerton worth a visit too. Lodge very clean great to look over the lake sitting on the balcony enjoying a drink very peaceful. Thank you for the lemon cake it was delicious. We will see you again next year, Thanks again Christine and Nick.
This is our 5th time staying at Rural Roosts which I think speaks for itself ! There is nothing not to like here - everything you could need in the lodge and the area is lovely and peaceful. The new off-lead dog area is great. The men had some good size fish in the lake and up at the reservoir. Check in and contact with the owners is good. Carpenters Arms at Fiskerton great food and very dog friendly in the pub area 10 mins drive. See you next year !
We have been going to rural roosts now for years and it is a lovely relaxing place to stay. Fishing is good and location is good plenty to do around the area
We have been visiting Rural Roosts every year, sometimes twice a year, since 2016 and have never been disappointed with the lodges or the venue. The lodges are always very clean and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Great place just to relax and chill out. Easy traveling distances of Lincoln, Louth and Horncastle plus Wragby only 4 miles away with a brilliant fish and chip shop and a good Chinese take away.
