As always an enjoyable break in peaceful surroundings. Lodge is clean comfortable and well equipped. Katy is friendly, helpful and efficient but never intrudes. We will be back again!
This was our third time at Rural Roosts and it didn't disappoint. It was our first time staying on Little Owl lodge and our first with a hot tub and we would definitely choose that option again. The hot tub area is lovely and private and was nice to sit and relax under the stars. The lodges are very roomy and comfortable, and you are provided with everything you could need from kitchen utensils to dog bowls and hot tub towels. Lodge was in an excellent condition. Lovely setting and very peaceful and a great place to chill out. Having the option of fishing in the reservoir was a bonus.
Another wonderful stay at Rural Roosts . Always peaceful and lovely to walk with the dogs. Lodge very clean and comfortable , Hosts always on hand to help if needed . Excellent suggestion for Doddington hall farm shop - a real hit with everyone. Dog friendly cafe with fantastic food !
Beautiful area, loads of wildlife already booked again. Can't fault it great fishing and dog walks. Cabins are warm and cosy
nice quiet location very relaxing but still close to shops etc if you need them, if there is a problem tim or kate will be there to fix the problem , on site you can buy the essentials bread mi=lk eggs jam which is handy lovely clean lodges facing the lake plenty of areas to walk and just sit on the decking outside and chill
Beautiful Location. , Been a few times before, lodge so well equipped with everything for a perfect stay, lovely long or short walks with the most amazing sunsets .
Enjoyed a short break and a reunion with my cousin in another lodge. Quiet, Beautiful weather, a relaxing time away from the stresses of Life. Spacious Lodge, well equipped, comfortable large bed, walks around the lake and locally. Information centre for emergency basics and where to go locally. Felt refreshed after a few days. Would Highly recommend.
