Another perfect stay in Swan Lodge. A little bit of luxury in perfect rural surroundings. The Bark Park is a favourite of our dog as we can finally let him off the lead knowing he can't run off. Katie and Tim cannot do enough for you - this year a great help getting our car started on departure day. Can't wait to return again next year.
Lodge and surroundings very well kept, Tim & Katie their usual helpful selves. Fishing was slow but picked up and some very nice quality fish caught
Lodge was in an excellent condition. Lovely setting and very peaceful and a great place to chill out. Having the option of fishing in the reservoir was a bonus.
We usually stay in Tawny Lodge, many times, but it was booked up, so decided to stay in a different lodge this time, lovely as ever, On suite shower/toilet room to double room, lovely and cosy. clean....amazing.
A welcoming lemon drizzle cake and everything you could need to make the holiday comfortable. The view over the lake is beautiful and active with birds and good fishing. Comfortable bed. Very quiet at night.
I stayed in badger lodge with 2 of my brothers for 4 nights,it's the second time we've been to Rural Roosts and it is simply the best place we've stayed.The fishing is really good plenty of big carp in both ponds and the scenery is beautiful,all you can hear is birds singing and the wildlife is all around you .The owners are so nice and nothing was any bother at all ,if you needed anything they was always at hand to help.we will definitely be going again.
Beautiful Location. , Been a few times before, lodge so well equipped with everything for a perfect stay, lovely long or short walks with the most amazing sunsets .
