The Swan Lodge was welcoming and a gorgeous place to stay. There was plenty of room and it had all the necessary amenities for a weekend away including things for baking and entertainment. The location is beautiful, in a rural part of Lincolnshire. There was lots of suggestions of things to do nearby and on site. Highly reccomend, really good value.
Yet another visit to our favourite UK holiday retreat. We have been coming to Rural Roosts every year since 2014, sometimes twice a year, and have never been disappointed. Always clean, comfortable, well equipped and the most peaceful environment you could wish for. We have a border collie and the dog run near the reservoir where she can play ball off the lead is large plus for us. The wildlife is amazing, rabbits, badgers, deer and the wonderful sight at dusk at the reservoir watching the starlings gather and murmurate before roosting in the reeds. we have already booked for next year.
Yet another lovely stay at Rural Roosts. Lost count now of how many times we've stayed there now - feels like our second home! Weather was kind to us and we had loads off fishing opportunities albeit the fish were playing hard to get! Looking forward to staying again in the new year.
Great homely feel everything you need for a relaxing stay the lodge is comfortable and warm,spacious and very clean. The decking is huge great for our dogs to have some space without having a garden. Had some lovely fish on both pools having a shed is great to keep everything locked away. The new dog park was a hit with our dogs everytime we walked past they wanted to go in and have play time
Lovely stay, peaceful as expected. Good fishing and farm walks. Lodge comfortable and well equipped.
Very peaceful stay comfortable accommodation settees were a little low but plenty of room to relax. Outside table and chairs were very comfortable and well sheltered from the elements too cold to use hot tub could do with more cover for privacy
We moved from Kingfisher Lodge to Teal so we could enjoy a longer break. This lodge has a wonderful view of the lake and we enjoyed many sunsets . The work that has been carried out on the lake has really improved the view. The bird feeder outside the lodge is a lovely feature and we enjoyed a variety of birds and squirrels feeding. The lodge is very comfortable and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We would have no hesitation in booking a stay in this lodge again.
So Many stays in Tawny Lodge, and never gets boring. Always comfortable, Fresh feeling as you enter....Homely as always....Essy Our Border Collie used the bark park again, in fact she dragged us to it!! with excitement every time. We love it here. Many Thanks again to Katie, family team. x
