Three secluded and private self catering chalets situated on the tranquil shores of Loch Feochan, five miles south of Oban. Five acres of wooded amenity area is reserved for the sole use of the chalet occupants with a bird/nature lookout. Otters, Seals, Herons and Buzzards are all part of the natural surroundings, and the hills are covered with an abundance of flowers and fauna.
We had a great weekend, super location with access to my boat. Only downside was the weather! Perhaps you could provide some information on local walks.
This is my 4th stay at Ardoran. Wish I could keep this wonderful place a secret.
I've been here with family and fishing groups, and it is and ideal location for holidays on or off the water.
We caught plenty of Pollock, mackerel and a few sea trout and wrass. Looking forward to next year.
The nearby Barn Bar has a great atmosphere and excellent food and of course Oban is a vibrant town that has so much to offer.
Have stayed here several times. Super view over the loch and plenty of wildlife to see. A good sized lodge with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A pity we had a storm on the Monday but the rest of the UK had it too! We came back from Oban that day to find a fallen tree blocking the road but a local turned up in minutes armed with a chain saw!
We have stayed in all three of the lodges over the years and all share the super view.
