The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
We would urge anybody looking to book self-catering holiday accommodation in the Borders area to choose Airhouses at Lauder. This was by far the best self-catering accommodation we have ever stayed in and we can't thank Carol and Martin enough. We stayed at The Lamont for a four night break and to say it was outstanding is an under-statement. Spotlessly clean, gorgeous inside and out, stunning views, brilliant hot-tub, comfy beds, absolutely everything you could wish for in a self-catering property. The welcome food pack, fruit, bread, tea, coffee, milk and Welcome Bag with lovely goodies ...more
We booked with airhouses for my hen weekend and it was so good. The house was immaculate with lots of wee very nice touches from the owners. I would only suggest one thing: to have better lighting in the bbq hut. When doing bbq at night, the fairylights are definitely not enough. Other than that, it's easy to find, very quiet and with beautiful sceneries. I would definitely go back!
What a wonderful stay. It was easy driving distance to many attractions. Our children loved the mini house full of toys and tractor sandpit on the farm. The accomodation was incredibly comforatable. Its the small details that make the difference such as quality glassware and if you need to do a load of washing the powder is provided etc etc etc. They certainly set a high standard which was not met anywhere else on our holiday in Scotland.
Absolutely beautiful lodge and such a relaxing break! Hosts were lovely, lodge was gorgeous and we will certainly be back. We’ve stayed in a few lodges but this one ticked all of the boxes for us! Tranquil, relaxing and perfect! Only little bit of feedback would be the robes are teeny tiny xx
