Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
The Hawthorn pod was beautiful and in a stunning location. It was equipped to a high standard and immaculate. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. It’s a super spot for seeing lots of the local area, and the information provided on the app was extremely useful. It’s a completely relaxing break with its own hot tub and barbecue, and the pod itself was so roomy and well fitted. There was nothing that could be faulted and I will definitely stay there again.
10 ladies enjoyed a weekend of luxury and relaxation for my daughter’s hen party. Great accommodation, cute animals in the farm and massive hot tub. Enjoyed a lovely meal at Carfraemill which is 5 min drive.
Very minor niggle - had to buy more kitchen roll and toilet roll as quantity provided was limited.
Situated in a beautiful location with wildlife and many varieties of birds to see. The farm animals were an added point of interest and the on-site shop very useful. Inside, the living area was spacious and well-equipped. However, we would have liked more mugs for tea and coffee! Towels, sanitary ware and white goods all of good quality and it was very nice to have a generous welcome pack and the toiletries to use. It was good to have outside seating areas as well. Only small point, as the house is accessible inside and suited to wheelchair use, please could at least part of the front parking ...more
It was the perfect getaway for our family and what we were looking for - somewhere tranquil, with not too many people around, surrounded by nature and the clearest view of the night sky. We probably should have made more use of the hot tub when it was raining but we had one gloriously dry and sunny day when we indulged in that and the BBQ. The variety of farmyard animals - from exotic alpacas to the friendliest ever sheep, donkeys and Shetland ponies - was another treat. The lodge and all the facilities were absolutely spotless, I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere so clean and well mainta...more
Me and my new wife had an absolutely incredible time at the lodge, when we arrived the lodge was immaculately clean and tidy we got a very homely vibe straight away, the kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances, we had a nice little welcome hamper when we arrived, the heating went out once and Was fixed within 10 minutes of calling Damian, who was very helpful and friendly. We are already planning to come back next year as a yearly anniversary.
Loved our 3 night stay in The Rowan Pod. It's in a beautiful setting, surrounded by hills, trees, & fields. Spent an hour in the hot tub each evening, bbq our dinner & breakfast in the bbq hut. The pod is quite spacious, with the (comfy)bed & bedding folded away, then to have seating & a table to sit at, was great. We had a really small fridge, but there was a larger one in another small hut, so plenty of storage for food & drinks. Shower & toilet area looks small, but shower was great, did not feel cramped at all. Some nice walks around the farm, with lots of petting animals, mostly rescue. ...more
