Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
Just returned from an amazing break in the Capercaillie. The house is fantastic - supplied with everything you would ever need and more. The setting is just beautiful and walking through the countryside with only the livestock around was perfect. This is what we all needed - lots of r&r, with the hot tub being a perfect middle and finish to each day. Our dogs enjoyed it too, they have come back home exhausted with all the walking we all did. Just perfect.
We stayed as an adult family and all had a fantastic time. The lodge was very well equipped, hot tub looking out at fantastic views was very relaxing after a day of sight seeing in the Borders. Location very good to use as a base or for a few days R and R. Our only small issue was we ran out of hot water for showers a couple of mornings as there were 5 of us.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. We plan to return and would recommend Air Houses.
