With a well appointed double bedroom, spacious bathroom with standalone bath, open kitchen / dining / lounge, large picture windows and a sauna, mini gym, shower room and office area upstairs, it has everything you could want for a perfect getaway.

The Bothy was one of the fanciest places that we've ever stayed. Between the views, the fireplace, large soaking tub, shower, sauna, kitchen, I could go on- it was a truly luxurious stay and we couldn't ask for more for our honeymoon.

There was only one thing that I hope won't turn people away from staying at this wonderful place, but for people to be aware of: when we arrived, the hot water was not running. We found what I believed to be an on-demand water heater in the kitchen, and after turning it on we had to wait until the next morning to start getting the hot water. Not a big deal, but I felt that there could have been instructions either before arriving at the property or in the manual explaining how these things work. On-demand water heaters are rare in the U.S. so running one might not be common sense to everyone.

I want to add that this could have not been the property's fault at all! There was also a power surge when we first arrived that seemed to affect the town of Portree. Maybe when that happened it switched the heater off.

Regardless, we miss the Bothy already and would definitely stay there if given the chance again.

Wonderful place for two people.
It is close to Portree, a little difficult to find, and is in a good location as a base for seeing around Skye. It is a bit expensive but it has everything you would probably want. Plenty of space and great facilities, including a sauna.

Lovely weekend stay at the Bothy 7, very welcoming cosy stay with Biscuits and Prosecco as a welcome on arrival. Very clean and well equipped Kitchen considering COVID restrictions.
Only small niggle was that one of the sofas leg rest wasn’t working so it didn’t feel as comfortable as it could have been and an extra seat by the window would’ve been lovely to sit and watch the views over Portree.
Bath was so relaxing and even the shower was luxurious, dressing gowns were also a nice touch. Would recommend a stay at the Bothy 7 to everyone looking for a special break away.

Very relaxing place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close to Portree and a great location to explore the island from . Facilities great - didn’t even have time to use the sauna !
