After a very long drive from Edinburgh, we were delighted to open the doors to Solas Alain. It was larger than we imagined and absolutely immaculate. The views took our breath away and changed over the course of the day.
The unexpected highlight for me was how close it was to the Quiraing. I got up early two of the three mornings to make my way up before sunrise and found myself the only one there on the second morning, and in the middle of magical wedding dress photo shoots the first.
We took a drive out to DUNVEGAN and Neiste Point and then just watched our view from the bench outside on our return.
It was a magical place to stay and I hope to be back soon.
