Ruadh, Balmeanach, is a stunning contemporary holiday home on the Isle of Skye with amazing views of the Cuillins and MacLeod's Tables. It offers spacious open living accommodation with patio doors and picture windows allowing the countryside to come inside. There are four double bedrooms, three bathrooms and parking for up to four vehicles easily.

Have you ever regretted not having spent more time in a particular location ? Well, that was our family’s feeling upon leaving leaving Skye and Ruadh.
Ruadh is a splendid house. Welcoming, cozy, perfectly appointed.
Yet the most impressive part of it are the views. Seat in any of the sofas, any time of day, are you will witness all the beauty of isle of Skye’s scenery.

A great luxury home. Fully equipped. Beautiful location. Beautiful view from the living room. Everything has been thought of. We enjoyed it.

We had obviously read the particulars and viewed the pictures on the website before arriving, but they don’t do it justice. The sheer size and open space of the holiday house grabs you when you first enter. Everything is spotless and built to a very high standard. This feels like a property that has been decorated as a primary home not a holiday home. Everything is new and of a high quality e.g. the 65” Television is a new Samsung with a matching Q-Symphony compatible soundbar. Everything has been thought of – there are even fans in the room if you have to keep your windows close from the dreaded midge! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and the US style Fridge Freezer is pleasantly large. Utility room is also well equipped with a supply of washing detergent.

Wi-fi is more than adequate for multiple streaming sessions (I measured it at between 75-95 mbps).

The views are incredible with an excellent set of binoculars set up in the snug for viewing.
Local area is also fantastic with Dunvegan Castle, the Coral Beach and the Three Chimneys restaurant (well worth a visit) close by.

Certainly up there with the best houses we have ever stayed in and would not hesitate to recommend.

Maz and Kyle presented the property in immaculate condition. Superb location; very well appointed facilities and loads of space. A great place to relax and switch off.

This space was extremely well thought out. It has ample space for large groups and a social space separated from the bedrooms for those who want to stay up late, but not keep anyone awake.

It felt like every need was considered. The kitchen is well stocked, and little touches (ie fans, blowdryers, usb outlets, high chairs, etc) really pushed this place over the top for us. It is easily one of the nicest AirBnBs we have been to, and we’d happily come back!

As quite a large group (5 adults, 2 teenagers and two babies) we were concerned that the property could of been too small for us, but we were very wrong! Ruadh is a beautiful house decorated to a very high level and kitted out with all the kitchen equipment you need. We had an amazing stay here and wished we had booked a couple more nights. The views are amazing we only wish we had had better weather to explore them.

The property was beautiful, very comfortable and very well equipped. It is easily accessible, but also in a very peaceful and private location.
The welcome pack was a lovely addition, nice to be able to make a cup of tea/coffee on arrival.
We did feel it was rather expensive though.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ruadh recently with our whole family and my parents ( 8 adults) . The house is beautifully appointed and equipped on a quiet road . We never had the heating on yet found the house very comfortable and warm however in colder weather there is also the lovely wood burning stove .We found the agent and owner very helpful and friendly . Good value for money if 8 guests are splitting the cost . Particularly well situated for visiting the sights in the north of the island .
