Skye Garden Accommodation is a charming chalet set in a mature garden in a quiet residential area of Portree. Steps lead down from the parking area to the chalet where you enter via the open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area. There are lovely views over Loch Portree. Steps lead down to the double bedroom and shower room. Patios from the bedroom leads you to the decking area outside.

An ideal cottage for a couple. The owners are very kind and helpfull.
Handy central location on the Isle of Skye. You can walk to the town center and still benefit from a very calm environment.

We had a great stay here in Portree. Nice little wooden cottage at the top of the city(better if you have a car). Everything was clean,cozy and spacious.
We definitely recommend this place.

We had a fantastic stay at Skye Garden Accommodation - lovely little cottage in a private garden. It was the perfect base to explore Skye and Portree itself - it's about a 10 min walk into town with lovely restaurants and shops, but also far enough away from the centre to be lovely and peaceful without cars and tourists passing by. The cottage had everything we needed to cater for ourselves and rest after some long days walking.

First class accommodation with the bonus of the very helpful owner living next door. Convenient for Portree centre and lovely view over the harbour. The Cuillin Hills Hotel is nearby for a drink or meal but book well in advance.

This was my third time staying at Skye Garden Accommodation and it was as pleasant and relaxing as ever. It has everything you would need for an enjoyable stay on Skye and is very well located for the amenities and services of Portree as well as being a great base for touring the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at the garden cottage - it's a really cute place with a nice view onto the ocean from the garden. There is a small kitchenette, which was great for us because it meant we could cook some of the meals. Everything was very clean and there were clear instructions on how to use everything. The owner was lovely and took the time to chat to us (and we got to meet his wonderful spaniel - she is gorgeous and very friendly after some initial shyness!). It's walking distance from the town centre (10 minutes) and there is space to park a car. It's definitely a great place to stay on Skye!

David was a most pleasant host. There if you needed him but never intrusive,
The accommodation was lovely. An ideal base from which to explore the island. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The fridge is small so don't arrive with masses of chilled goods, this was not an issue for us because despite going self-catering , we never do. It was big enough to keep the cider chilled.
We will not quickly forget the ' post card picture ' view from the lounge window.
