My partner and I loved every moment of our stay at this beautiful cottage. The location is special — surrounded by trees and close to beautiful views of the water, with that edge-of-the-world feeling. What really stood out was the charm of the house itself: cozy, homey, and clearly cared for by people who love it. The shelves full of books and local maps were so helpful for exploring the area, and made us feel more connected to it.
The kitchen was well stocked, which made cooking in feel easy and comfortable. And after a full day out, the bed was comfortable — with a window right above it (with blackout available) that adds to the charm.
A place full of character and thoughtfulness. Highly recommend, and we'd love to come back.

5 Galtrigill is a lovely cottage and perfect if you are looking for a getaway from the beaten paths and tourist streams on Skye. The location is right at the end of the street so there is hardly any traffic. The property is furnished and decorated with care and love, not only a rental object but with personal touch of the owners. The house is comfy but has more than enough space with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen and all appliances you need. With enough supplies you could stay for months. Highlights are the living room with a fire place and the bathtub overlooking the coast and sea. The property is well maintained and if anything goes wrong, I&H Cottages are super responsive and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back.
