10 Husabost is a modern, spacious holiday cottage surrounded by a landscaped garden. It has open plan living where the outside is brought inside. There are two double bedrooms, both with king size beds, and a twin bedroom. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath or shower room.

Our second visit - very comfortable with lovely stylish touches. Everything we needed. Garden is beautiful and still maturing and developing. The outdoor facilities are as good as indoors with pizza oven and fire pit. The electric charging point was an added bonus for us. The pulley too is an added feature for those wetter days! The beds are super kings in the “double rooms”. Our only slightly picky comment is that the fitted sheets appear too small for the super king. Also a nice touch would be extra wide pillows to better fit the super king! Bathrooms are very well appointed. Kitchen is well equipped too. The situation - for us- is excellent - off the well beaten track but still easy access to the world outside. The garden is intriguing and still evolving. Very interesting work being done and an organic approach to the land management is excellent.

All in all a very cosy, comfortable, stylish home from home.

Staying at 10 Husabost was the best decision we made on our 2.5 week trip to Scotland and England. The 5 days we spent on Skye were perfect, in no small part due to our excellent accommodations. The Croft is absolutely stunning, inside and out!! Soooo clean and welcoming upon arrival. Every single detail has been thought out, you can tell love from the owners has been poured into the house. The set-up was perfect for our family of five. I slept the best I have in years on the comfortable king bed. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful and well-stocked kitchen, walking around the area, driving to the well-known tourist hiking spots which weren’t too far away, snuggling up for a movie in the cozy living room, and just relaxing in the serene countryside. We know this area well and were delighted when the house at 10 Husabost was "refurbished" to provide very well appointed accommodation. We were 5 in total and enjoyed the very generous bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchen space. There was also an excellent utility room with a very handy pulley!

The bedrooms are very nicely decorated with - we thought - a New England feel. The bedlinen is good quality - the duvet was in the cover the wrong way though! Not life threatening but annoying!! The bathrooms are exceptionally well done although the controls for the bidet did have us flummoxed!

The kitchen has more or less everything you could wish for. We took matches with us for candles - matches were not provided - although battery operated candles were!! Perhaps the eco friendly aims of the home suggest that candles are not encouraged. Didn't manage to find a vase for flowers.

The views, particularly from upstairs are superb.

All in all, we had a really lovely stay in a very comfortable, warm home and would certainly wish to return.

The house was easy to find. It was very clean and very well equipped. The information provided was excellent and we felt very welcome. We were a group of five and it was very comfortable with plenty of room and bathrooms. Any queries raised were answered quickly.

10 Husabost was stunning. It had everything I have ever wanted in a vacation rental and nothing I didn't want. It was perfectly designed, had more than the basics for cooking, a stunning view, was quiet, and even had a herd of deer visiting at sunset. From the linens to the silverware to the shower and tub and the cabinet handles, everything was so well considered and lovely. After cycling the Outer Hebrides it was the perfect place to relax for a few days with friends.

Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!! The property was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated throughout (loved learning the history of the house). Husabost offered everything we could possibly need throughout our stay. The location was spectacular and we saw deer at the bottom of the drive on several occasions. We also went walking in the nearby hills where the views were incredible. We were also within easy reach of Dunvegan and Neist Point which was a highlight despite the fact that we didn’t see any whales. We would highly recommend.

My wife and I - along with our grown-up son - had the most wonderful stay in 10 Husabost in August 2022. It was one of those rare occasions when our accommodation turned out to be even nicer than it had appeared in the photographs online: it was well-equipped, tastefully and comfortably furnished, light, airy and spacious, and had lovely views; yet it was also so brilliantly insulated and cleverly heated that we always felt snug. The location, too, was magical, with views through trees and fields to the loch. On a couple of occasions we had red deer grazing next to the house. In this quiet, comfortable haven, we were able to look out at the ever-changing weather, the light casting surrounding hills into a fresh formation hour-by-hour. When venturing out, we had the chance to walk immediately outside, explore the nearby shorelines, swim, visit cafes and shops a short drive away; we even had the chance to spend time with local birds of prey. From the comfort of the sitting room - and with the aid of binoculars - we could see dolphins leaping in the loch almost every day. All in all, it was a very memorable stay in a very special place.

We had such a wonderful time. The property is amazing, brilliantly equipped with high spec appliances and everything you could possibly need. We stayed for 7 nights and it was the perfect home from home.
