We enjoyed staying in York House for our 3 generation family celebration! The house is in a quiet residential area , set back from the main road within beautiful sunny gardens. The house was well equipped (though could do with sharper knives and pizza trays!), fairly clean with plenty of bedroom storage and comfortable beds. We had gorgeous weather and made the most of the garden seating etc. The external games room was a bonus and would have been used more if the weather hadn't been as good! York House is handy for local shops and the beach.
We found Aldwick Bay beautiful with amazing houses to goggle at as we walked along! We really liked Pagham Harbour too. A lovely meal was had by all our party at the White Horse, Chillgrove at the edge of the South Downs. We also enjoyed the local produce from Runcton farm shop, a short drive away.
There is much to do in the area a short drive away but we enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing week, not straying far at all!
The goodies left for us by the owner were very much appreciated, thank you, Rob and Suzette.
