Our family have been visiting Selsey since long before I was born, I am now visiting with my children, in there 20's, so have stayed in many properties. This was definitely up there with the best, perfect for 3 adults ( or a small family), in a perfect spot, yards from the sea and lifeboat and 10 mins walk to the High Street. The cottage had most things we needed( a couple of things missings we advised owners of) but generally good facilities and equipment we needed. For those who don't know Selsey, lovely walks along the sea walls and days out in Chicester, Brighton, Portsmouth and Arundel ...highly recommended . My favourite day was exploring parts of Selsey I'd never got to before on bikes we hired very cheaply from a shop in the high street.

We had a great week staying at Lambournes in Selsey. The cottage was comfortable and served us pretty well. There were a couple of things that could have improved our stay regarding the shower and the parking, and we left those on the feedback sheet when we left.

The bus service to Chichester was excellent - even on a Sunday - and meant we didn't always need to take the car.

We hope to visit again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lambournes. It was immaculate and a welcome pack of coffee, biscuits, milk, tea and Prosecco was provided. One caveat was that the weather was particularly chilly and the heating was set to 10 degrees on arrival. It took several hours to warm the house. We suggest leaving the heating higher in winter. The bedrooms were delightful and the large bathroom pristine . We found the short walk to the shops and beach just right. Altogether highly recommended.

The property has been sympathetically restored and was very clean. All furnishings and fixtures were of a very high standard with very comfortable beds. It had a lovely garden and was only a few minutes walk from the beach or into town.
