Myself and family stayed for nearly 3 weeks at Hearnesbrook in August. The accomodation was very high spec and it felt like a beautifully restored property. Exceedingly comfortable with luxury bathrooms. Simon and Rosie were such generous hosts and we felt totally welcome whilst they remained discrete providing us privacy. They gave us lots of helpful tips about where to eat and visit. I also felt the barn was good value as it was really spacious and the annex worked well for our grown up kids to come and stay for a few nights. Space for two cars to park and suntraps to eat meals in both the front patio and back cottage style garden.

This was the second time staying at Hearnesbrook Barn. We love it here, super clean and everything you need for a fabulous break. The property has really comfy beds, great showers and a well equipped kitchen. We find staying here is like being at home. You open a drawer or cupboard and there it is, what you were looking for. You arrive and feel at home immediately.
Rosie and Simon are great hosts, friendly but not obtrusive.
There are many brilliant places to visit nearby, with great walking straight from the door. Emsworth has plenty of pubs and restaurants to keep you happy too and a little Tesco just a short walk away.
Would definitely recommend and we will be back

The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful home away from home. Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated, the cottage is in walking distance of the centre of Emsworth, which is a quaint English village with very friendly locals. We were spoiled by the number of excellent restaurants and pubs in walking distance of the house, and the incredible scenic walks. Our hosts could not do enough for us to ensure our comfort. Rosie and Simone are very gracious hosts - the best we have experienced during our travels around the world. You will not be disappointed in a either short or long stay at the cottage. A perfect spot to relax and unwind in the great English countryside.

Delighted to find holiday properties like this still exist...a real credit to Rosie and Simon who are the ideal hosts. We travelled here from Scotland to visit family in Rowlands and have our son over for a couple of weekends from HMS Collingwood. The barn is extremely well equipped with everything you need, including a super selection of kitchen and cooking essentials often missing elsewhere. Plenty of logs for wood burner and good to have outdoor drying for laundry when on longer trip like us & proper hairdriers. Welcoming touches like the Prosecco, milk cookies and fresh flowers really make a difference and the hosts are exceptionally helpful and informative without being intrusive. Really handy for lovely local walks as well as the train station for access to Portsmouth, London etc. Good choice of restaurants nearby and property set well back from the busy road so peaceful retreat to enjoy the outdoor seating (and apples). We loved it here. Immaculate, fully equipped, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Thanks again to Rosie and Simon who helped make our stay so very relaxing. We hope to return soon.

Everything about Hearnesbrook Barn is so carefully thought through to give that perfect holiday. Close to the centre of Emsworth, it is very conveniently situated – yet far enough off the road to be peaceful. The accommodation is delivered to a very high standard and is very well equipped. We had a wonderful week there and got in some good cycling to Bosham and the Wittering’s. Totally recommend a stay at Hearnesbrook Barn.

We had a lovely time staying at Hearnesbrook Barn in Emsworth, the owners were very welcoming and friendly and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and everything very tasteful and comfortable. The barn had an outside space with a table and chairs and we managed to sit out in the sun several times as the weather was kind to us. It was less than 5 minutes walk into Emsworth and harbour with a good mix of shops cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. Also only 20 minutes drive from Chichester again with a great selection shops and restaurants. Our favourite beach West Wittering was only 35 minutes away and definitely worth a visit. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back in future as so much to enjoy and explore in the area.

This was a splendid property in every respect - and we have stayed at many worldwide. Hosts Simon and Rosie were super helpful and responsive. The flat is self contained on two levels with a patio and beautifully decorated with wood and natural themes. The location is convenient to a lovely village and the sea. We will certainly return.

Very comfortable and well equipped barn conversion in central Emsworth. The hosts looked after us beautifully. We stayed here over Christmas and enjoyed it thoroughly. We were made to feel very welcome. We were warm and cosy and enjoyed the excellent under floor heating. It was in the middle of the COVID pandemic, and we were very happy to be locked down here for our solitary Christmas.

We just did 4 nights at Hearnesbrook Barn and had a very relaxing time (2 adults and 2 children under 8). The property is very well furnished and finished to a very high standard. It is comfortable and in a good location for exploring Chichester Harbour as well as Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.
The hosts were very accomodating and personable and made us feel at home straight away. We would definitely visit again!
