We spent a week here at the tail-end of summer and it was a gorgeous retreat that we loved coming back to every day. Superbly appointed, particularly the kitchen and dining area, which were exceptional. The cottage feel was maintained, but with luxury touches. We also appreciated the little touches that made the stay so much easier - plenty of bin bags, washing machine and dishwasher tabs (in case we needed them), the complimentary coffee grounds, the garden full of nooks and crannies. The only queries we would have were the positioning of the TV (high, close to the ceiling, next to the fireplace), and a slightly cramped utility room and entranceway that made it quite hard to find the right place to hang our washing. There was also the occasional dead spider found beneath a window in a couple of places. But these are minor quibbles, which did not distract from a lovely house and stay. Also, note that Buriton itself is a sleep village, and despite proximity to Petersfield it only has two buses a day and taxis are difficult to find, therefore having a car is essential to get around.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed the cottage and Buriton! The Tv position was difficult to decide on due to the shape of the old cottage. We felt we positioned it in best a place as possible. The utility room is small but we are pleased to have a separate space for the washing machine etc. We do feel there are lots of other spots around the house with plenty of room to pop up an airer.
