Fantastic beach front house with indoor and outdoor pool - sleeps 20

Fabulous property, beautifully equipped and presented inside. Work is ongoing to complete restoration outside, when it will be even better. large garden with full on sea views from all parts of rear of property and stunning sunset views. Living area is very spacious and although our party was 13, it would be well-suited to a group of 20. Plenty of hot water and excellent shower. Logs available for open fires, although we did not use as weather was warm.
On Henry Adams website, it shows very limited photos and therefore does not really show the house in its true colours. Lastly it is described as "beachfront" in several places, when there is no beach access (it is a 20 foot drop!), so really it should be described as "sea front" or maybe clarified that there is no beach access. It is still a wonderful property

We had a very nice three days at the property. Good living space, a very comfortable house. House has a few issues including a top floor bathroom window that was jammed open and that we had not been told about. Indoor pool area is lovely.
Unfortunately on the first night, the fridge stopped working so all the food was ruined. We spent hours of our break talking with the owner looking at solutions, one was go to Argos and buy a fridge! Bottom line there was no fix so for next two days no fridge. We were supplied another freezer to use which did not really solve the issue.
At the end of the stay, we obviously complained. In writing we were advised that a token £250 refund had been credited to our account. That by no means covered the inconvenience or all the food that had to be replaced. Having four toddlers with us, parents had brought prepared food.
But there was no budging by owner or Henry Adams.
When I checked our account there was no credit. We had to wait until end of September when the owner had further rental income coming in for the refund. That meant a month after our stay and not what we had been told in writing.
So nice house but disappointing service from the owner and Henry Adams.
