A spacious, luxuriously finished cottage located close to Ballynahinch Castle and offering direct access onto the Connemara greenway for off-road walking and cycling. Surrounded by magical woodlands, rivers, lakes and countryside. An ideal location for families, couples, or a group of friends seeking a getaway in an idyllic and peaceful location, while still being close to nearby villages of Roundstone and Clifden.

The cottage owners were very friendly and welcoming and were very responsive to any questions we had.
The cottage is in a quiet area very handy for Clifden and whilst remote it’s just a 30 minute walk to Balynahinch Castle where there are walks, fishing, a good restaurant and bar.
The cottage is spacious and well equipped with all the appliances you need. The bedrooms are all a good size with comfortable beds, quality linen and bath towels.
It’s a great place to relax and explore and is ideally situated on the Connemara Greenway which links to the various Clifden Cycle Hubs.
We’ll be back!!

Lovely cottage. Super clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen with all modern amenities. Barbeque area was perfect for grilling out with two picnic tables and lovely views. The owners, Barbara and James, along with their son Alexander, couldn't have been more accommodating and available if we needed anything. Direct access to the Greenway was perfect for my husband as he uses a mobility scooter. Lovely walks along the Greenway. The cottage is only 15 minutes from Clifden for shopping and 15 minutes from Roundstone. The bedrooms and ensuites are fabulous and very modern. Very spacious kitchen area and lounge. We will definitely be back!

The property was in really excellent condition and sparkling clean with all the facilities you could need. The bedrooms are large, bright and modern and the fact that all 3 of them are en suite is a major plus. Superfast internet connection and large modern smart TV available in the comfortable sitting room. This kitchen had all the appliances and utensils you could need. The stocked Nespresso machine was a nice touch.

The location while remote is very central to all major tourist location which makes it an ideal base to explore Connemara. Our hosts Barbara & James were very welcoming.

I would highly recommend this cottage.
