The lodges are absolutely gorgeous we were only there for two nights but would definitely book again. Sat outside on the porch with our breakfast looking at the view. Staff are excellent.
This is the fourth or fifth time we have stayed here with our dog( various Labradors , one at a time) . We were pleased to see that there had been several improvements since our last visit. The uncomfortable sofa has been replaced, and the old patio has been replaced with new decking, with new furniture and a fire pit. There had been some internal reshaping of walls etc which gave more space. The walls have been repaired and papered and there is now only carpet n the lounge, with laminate flooring everywhere. Stayed at the White House at Cologin with our family of 10 people. The Lodge was well equipped & had everything needed to make our stay very special. Clean comfortable and we were very impressed with all of the facilities. A brilliant spot next door to the Pub which served supe food.
Excellent accommodation - comfortable and welcoming, excellent location and dog friendly - we’ll be back!
Have stayed at Cologin many times over the years and have no hesitation in recommending this location for a relaxing break. It's out in the countryside with some forrest walks and on site bar and restaurant but only a 10 minute drive to Oban town centre.
Well located for enjoying highland and island walks, as well as visiting the isles of Mull, Iona and Staffa to enjoy the delightful scenery, wildlife and history
Quality is above the price point compared to many other similar cottages around Oban, I was actually a bit surprised - most places charge more and deliver less. The cottages are slightly aged (which is clear from the pictures before you book), but reasonably maintained. Bedding and mattresses are above average.
