Had a lovely stay at Cologin Farm Lodge, was very clean, quiet and scenic. Being able to take the dog was great as we like taking him with us, however we would like to revisit without him and experience Oban better. Location was fine, located a 10 minute drive from Oban town centre. Wi-Fi on site is fine for phone use but not recommended for streaming services, they do have DvD players in the cottages and also have some DvD's on site located in an old phone box, as well as soon books. Would love to visit again.
The property is spotless, and lovely to have a wood burner. We have 2 dogs and you can walk out of the house directly up to a hidden loch in 15 mins, lovely to have a bar and restaurant on site.. The staff are all very helpful & and on our last two visits, Brian , the Buildings engineer was a joy to chat to .. Every member of staff was a joy to deal with …
The stay was very comfortable and the room as great for my sister who is disabled. Enjoyed my nights at the barn Would recommend it to friend who are going to oban
A birthday treat for me, a well deserved treat for my daughter and dog. We love walking around the site so peaceful, and we go to the beach everyday, Skye loves it there. Been going to Cologin for a good number of years love it ❤️
Another lovely stay in this lovely, quiet location. The night skies are amazing. The Barn restaurant provides great food and great friendly service. Kate and her team keep the site beautifully, and we have now enjoyed 5 stays here over the years. Would thoroughly recommend
We stayed at Cologin lodge for 5 nights in early June. Communication was excellent, above expectations. The property was perfect for our needs. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was adequately equipped. A non stick pan would have been useful. We ate at The Barn on our first night - the venue was really busy and noisy, which we found difficult as it made conversation awkward, but the food was delicious. Had we stayed longer we would have been happy to have returned there. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to Cologin lodge and are happy to recommend it.
Very comfortable week for 6 friends on a reunion, plenty of space, responsive hosts, good to have bar/restaurant next door
Nice little chalet, perfect for 2 people. Basic kitchen, ok if you weren't doing much cooking. 12345
Arrived with our granddaughter and wee dog to find a warm clean chalet with all the amenities and very clean The beds were clean and very comfortable and we all slept well The paths around Cologin are excellent for dog walking and up to the Loch We will certainly be back The communication from Katie was also excellent
