Had a lovely stay at Cologin Farm Lodge, was very clean, quiet and scenic. Being able to take the dog was great as we like taking him with us, however we would like to revisit without him and experience Oban better. Location was fine, located a 10 minute drive from Oban town centre. Wi-Fi on site is fine for phone use but not recommended for streaming services, they do have DvD players in the cottages and also have some DvD's on site located in an old phone box, as well as soon books. Would love to visit again.
Really enjoyed the cottage. Staff helpful. Lovely countryside, easy access to Oban, local wildlife abundant.
Booked last minute and Katie was super helpful in accommodating us and the dogs. So peaceful and a great location for exploring Oban, Mull and Iona.
The Barn/Lerags is a lovely location with well presented and comfortable chalets and a pub in the middle. lovely place to go to chill out completely and very child and dog safe. I will be back.
Clean, modern and quiet. Excellent little place, bar and restaurant great, counsel’s fault anything at all.
Great lodge in a beautiful surrounding. Great walks and a nice restaurant. Close to Oban. Charging point available but not always working.
We had a great stay with our group in the farmhouse. It is nice located and enoughp privacy. Also plenty of plates and cups. Center of Oban is realy close by. And relaxing in the hottub was lovely.
We loved the setting of the chalets for our four night stay. It was very peaceful and the grounds are well kept. Our chalet was attached to another one and there is no sound proofing between the chalets. This is a great pity as there was another couple next to us. It was difficult to feel privacy while staying there. The staff when we did meet them were warm. However, we didn’t get to meet the people we were communicating with via WhatsApp. The chalet was clean and equipped. However, nothing matched. There was no two same size dinner plates for example. We stayed as a family for only a few nights but what a great place. So close to Oban for convenience but you really feel remote and peaceful. The lodge was well equipped and the information booklet felt very personal and friendly. Great communication with owners through whats app. I walked to the nearby loch and the chapel ruins, both lovely. Price was excellent for what you got and having the Barn Bar on site is a massive bonus. We didn't get to eat there as we weren't there long enough but would definitey try it if we went again or even came to Oban. Only downside is that they no longer do b...more
