We couldn’t have been happier staying here. It was the perfect holiday stay for our family of 14 plus visitors for the day. Despite the terrible weather there was lots to do in the area to keep 8 adults and 6 children occupied. The property was well equipped and warm and met our every need. Should our dispersed family need to get together again I would certainly be back.
Just returned from our second stay at The Terrace, first stay was at Bannerrigg a few years back and this stay was at Alice Howe for Christmas week. What i love most about the Terrace is its excellent location and no need to drive miles to get to shops,pubs & restaurants as it’s all just a stroll away. The properties are so spacious too that you still have the option of your own space if the mayhem of family/friends and dogs get too much! Hello Loved the property and our stay . A wonderful property in a great location all round . Thank you The housekeeper beforehand was extremely helpful. Thank you . I gave 4 for condition because of the loose lino in the kitchen which cut my foot . I sent a text as we were leaving which I hoped you received about the kitchen floor and the fireplace. . I gave 4 for cleanliness as not sure floors were washed as my bare feet feet were quickly black . . We all took our shoes off at the door .always.
We loved the property and the great location.There is everything you need within the house to make it an enjoyable stay. The cinema room and hot tub were both enjoyed by all. We had a wonderful stay over the New Year period.
Our first time at the cottage and we loved it, so much we’ve already booked again. Nice size for 4 adults, baby grandson and dog, very comfortable and clean. Good location minutes walk to the village but private garden with parking. Highly recommended.
Had a fantastic long weekend. Lots to do. All the rooms were amazing, great facilities in each room. Kitchen amazing, dining and front rooms spot on. One slight blemish our jacuzzi had no roof,the others were covered. But we all loved it and would return, regards Steve
Excellent stay. Our 6th visit to the terrace hosting our annual reunion. Perfect location we will be back next year.
