We have been to some nice cottages in England and Scotland over the years but bay cottage outdoes them all .the interior detail and amenities have not been spared by the owners. Magnificent views of ross bay and wildlife unreal roe deer literally at your front door i would highly recommend a visit .
This was our third year at The Old Cheeseloft and decided this year to invite our older children and partners. We rented four properties and I will review each one individually. The Old Cheeseloft is absolutely superb. Has everything one could ask for and is spotlessly clean. It is superbly equipped and had ample room for us to entertain all the family in our house. Cannot speak highly enough of Sue as she is absolutely wonderful and makes the most amazing cakes. Cannot wait to come back for New Year 2026.
An excellent "chill out" stay in beautiful surroundings. An extra treat with a deer grazing outside and a visit from two swans at high tide. A real costal gem - thanks Sue.
We had another great stay at Ross Bay Retreat. Sue and David are great hosts nothing is too much bother. We were provided with ice cream and fruit. A lovely touch was a Lindt bunny for Easter. Family were in the other three cottages and we all had a brilliant time.Looking forward to returning in September.
Beautiful location. Easy access to walks. Stunning views. Very comfortable cottage.Considerate owner, who left a very tasty cake...ice cream and other goodies.
Great place to stay, very quirky with everything in there that you need, ideally situated to explore the surrounding area, the chocolate cake was yummy
Beautiful location, beautiful cottage, excellent garden for the dogs to run around! Had a lovely relaxing stay over the Easter break, I'd like to say that we will be back some day! Thankyou!
