The Old Cheeseloft was comfortable and spacious with incredible views. The property was very clean and well equipped. Sue made us feel very welcome and her cake making skills are second to none! We were so lucky with the weather - sunshine every day. We only ventured further afield twice…with views and good walks from the cottage, why go anywhere else? Thank you for a relaxing holiday.

We had a fantastic week in the Dairy House. What an amazing place and location I have never stayed anywhere as nice as this place. The house is spotless very big and the warmest house I have ever stayed in. The Lemon drizzle cake and ice cream on arrival was delicious! It is so dog friendly the garden is really secure, our dog loved all the local walks, we used to walk over the hill to Brighouse Bay beach and most days we had it to ourselves. fantastic location on Ross Bay, well appointed and excellent accommodation. within easy reach of kirkudbright and other tourist locations, Creel Cottage is somewhere to return to again and again. Dumfries and Galloway has so much to offer with stately homes, ancient castles and amazing gardens to visit. Kirkudbright is a little gem of a town with an emphasis on art and paintings without being pretentious. booking is easy and our host Sue has a fine eye for detail with home baked cake and a warmed kettle ready for our arrival. we know that this holiday is going to be hassle free and relaxing....more
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely hut on the farm. It was tranquil, private and very special. Sue was so welcoming and accommodating, which started our short 2 night stay off perfectly. We ended up staying a 3rd night, due to a storm hitting the morning we were to leave we. It was fun hunkering down, cosily watching telly, and reading while winds blew. The underfloor heating kept us warm. The main day of our stay was gorgeously sunny. Overall very good cottage, excellent dog friendly garden. Would benefit from blackout curtains in bedroom, garden umbrella and grab rail to ease getting out of bath
