It is family owned and managed expertly by Sue with the utmost care and consideration for the comfort and enjoyment of guests. This was our fifth stay and we our booked for two more breaks this year at Ross Bay. Can't wait!
This was our third year at The Old Cheeseloft and decided this year to invite our older children and partners. We rented four properties and I will review each one individually. The Old Cheeseloft is absolutely superb. Has everything one could ask for and is spotlessly clean. It is superbly equipped and had ample room for us to entertain all the family in our house. Cannot speak highly enough of Sue as she is absolutely wonderful and makes the most amazing cakes. Cannot wait to come back for New Year 2026.

This was our 2nd stay at Dairy House and will definitely be returning. Dairy cottage is so comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need for your stay plus a good secure garden for your four legged friend. Instant relaxation from the moment you arrive until you leave. Sue is a wonderful host and makes you feel so welcome and also makes a fabulous lemon drizzle cake :) Ideal base for exploring Dumfries and Galloway or just relaxing watching the ildlife right outside the window. What a lovely place to stay. The older children and partners stayed here and absolutely loved it. The place was well equipped with everything you would need for a week long stay. The fact that the properties are all so close together is just perfect. We are all looking forward to this new year.
This was the fourth property we booked. My oldest son and his wife were in this property but moved into a larger property during the week. The place was spotless and a lovely little nook. The service we receive and the welcome is second to none and I would highly recommend.
Overdale Cottage is a comfortable, stylish cottage in the lovely Yorkshire village of Harome. There are great walks from the door and plenty more a short drive away, in our short stay we explored around Helmsley, Reveaux and Sutton Bank. The cottage is spacious and well presented, the beds are particularly comfortable. It is a dog friendly property and I would recommend for a family with or without a dog.
