Chestnut cottage is a modern large open plan cottage built to the latest and highest standards, completed in July 2013. Chestnut cottage is situated on the private Auchendennan estate at the south west end of Loch Lomond. within walking distance of the Cruin, Cameron House hotel, and duck bay marina wedding venues and just a short car journey from Luss and Boturich Castle. This cottage is ideal for those wanting short breaks away or if you are attending local weddings.

The cottage is has a kingsize double with a two seater sofa, wood burning stove, 32 inch TV with full sky package. The modern kitchen has all the latest facilities for self catering and the property has free WiFi.

The patio doors open up to a fantastic elevated garden view where you can sit out in the sun on your own doorstep or use the communal sun decking / BBQ area situated by the mill pond.

I had travelled over 200 miles on my motorbike. Finding the cottage in a superb location with parking outside.
The communication was excellent and the cottage larger than I expected.
Will definitely stay again but will make it a week next time.

Couldn't find fault at all. Many thanks

The only thing that could be an improvement for a family of 4 (like us) would be the option of a pull out sofa bed. There's plenty of room in the cottage to accommodate one, but we made it work with the campbeds that we had in our van anyway.

Great location. Restful and convenient to local towns.

We booked out every property for our wedding guests in April and we would highly recommend Auchendennan Farm. Angela, James and the whole team are so kind, helpful and relaxed. Every property was in super condition, clean, the location is fantastic and we would definitely return for our own holiday!

Everything you want for a short quiet break , everything is on hand and supplied with the cottage that you could require , very clean and well kept , just turn up with your supply's to enjoy your stay.

Booked three nights to allow us to drop off things day before wedding. Staff very obliging as we were too early. Even got food into fridge. Cottage very comfortable and great not to have to rush off day after the wedding. Family took other 2 cottages & we all had a BBQ day after wedding. Highly recommend and fantastic venue !
