We had a great stay in Chamonix and the apartment was an ideal base for us to go hiking and visiting. We don't own a car, but found that bus station, train station and supermarkets etc were all within a 5 minute radius of the apartment on foot, as well as the Aiguille du Midi cable car. The street can get busy in the evenings, as it's lined with bars and restaurants, but the double glazing is very effective.
Neige apartment was exactly as pictured, with a good-sized open plan kitchen/living room and two very small bedrooms. The mattresses were great and the sofa bed was comfortable.
Chamonix All Year staff were great - a member of staff dropped in with a clothes drying airer when I noticed ours was missing. The welcome kit was also much appreciated, as well as the really informative and exhaustive information page shared with us after booking.
We regretted the lack of a toaster - owner should add one, since otherwise the kitchen is extremely well equipped (Nespresso machine, stick blender, smoothie maker, etc...) An easy fix!
Worth mentioning that to access the apartment, we often needed to step over a very large dog, who belongs to another resident and likes to take a nap in the tiny entrance hallway. Very old and docile - despite the "beware of the fierce dog" signs ;)

The layout of the apartment was nice, good kitchen with induction stove. The beds were nice with electrical outlets at good places for phones, etc.
There were minor issues with the heating, being very hard to regulate and the electricity went out for some hours when we were cooking with to many items at the same time.
