We had a lovely week at Balnakeil in the bothy. The local beach is beautiful and our little dog was in heaven. The bothy was immaculate and the welcome pack very welcoming. We thought that a pint glass would be helpful for the chap who likes a pint (we managed to buy a plastic one from the local spa shop) and a blind on the inside of the front door…as without it, it lets in too much light at nighttime and also one window in the big house is visible from the bedroom in the bothy. An optional blind to pull down would be perfect. Just a thought….we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thank you.
Very comfortable cottage on a friendly working farm. Lovely area for walking and swimming. The only thing lacking was a small mirror in the bedroom.
