Balnakeil House was the perfect place for our needs, it is a well maintained extended family/ large group home in a great location. The owners were very friendly and helpful with our booking, 10/10 would recommend and we intend to book another stay in the future.
This was our second stay in the Bothy at Balnakeil. It’s special accommodation in a remarkable part of the world. The Bothy is small but generously equipped to a high standard. The beach is so close - perfect for early morning and late evening walks by the sea.
Well presented and cosy house with great kitchen equipment and a thoughtful hamper on arrival. Thoughtfully decorated with Anta furnishings. Excellent location for Balnakeil beach, Durness and local walks and the Balnakeil craft village.
