The Cove in Deal, Kent is a charming coastal cottage in the heart of conservation area, sleeping 4 people in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom. This stylish and cosy cottage would be ideally suited to couples, friends or small families looking for seaside getaway. Please note that the stairs are typical of an old cottage, very steep with turns.

We had a great stay at the Cove. The cottage is comfortable, beautifully decorated and has bags of charm. The stairs are not ideal for v young children or those with mobility issues but the cottage suited us perfectly. Its location is excellent with the seafront at one end of the street and the high street (and Saturday market) at the other. Deal is a lovely town to explore with lots of great places to eat and drink. No car is needed - we took the train to Sandwich and bus to Dover castle for fascinating history packed days out. Highly recommended all round!

We had a lovely stay at The Cove and would return, mostly thanks to its location. The house is on the better end of town and near lovely little shops and of course, the beach. It has been decorated very nicely and it was nice to receive the welcome bag.

Constructive feedback would be to clean the garden prior to guests arriving – there is a pigeon issue, which meant the garden and garden furniture was covered in bird poo. A quick wipe-down would have helped. There was also an old fire surround, which seems to be waiting to be removed. The garden could be made really nice with a few small changes.

We also felt there were a lot of cables lying around, which had an older group, or people with children, been staying, could have been a trip-hazard. We also agreed that whilst we found them charming, the narrow stairs would be an issue for anyone less physically able or carrying a baby, so should probably be flagged on the description.

Overall though we had a lovely stay and think the house could be made to be really impressive quite easily! Thanks for having us.

Family of 3 who have visited Deal many times. We had a wonderful week's stay in the cottage, which was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything that you need for a lovely, relaxing stay. Communication with Keepers Cottages was great and we really enjoyed our stay. We loved being just moments from the Beach, all the lovely shops and the supermarket was very close by too.
