SeaFern Cottage is perfectly located just off the trendy Harbour Street, and only a few minutes’ walk to the harbour where you can watch the fishing boats come and go or book a trip out to the legendary Maunsell sea forts, or maybe go seal watching. The high street has an abundance of friendly and lively cafes, restaurants, pubs and boutique shops. Whitstable also has a thriving arts scene, and live music is a popular feature in many of the pubs.

The cottage has a lovely, sociable, open plan sitting room and dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom, accessed via the main bedroom.

A great location, comfortable accommodation.

We enjoyed a week in Whitstable at SeaFern cottage (one couple and a dog). The location is great. A moments walk to the sea front and harbour and even closer to the main high street with all the lovely restaurants and shops.

There is one bathroom en-suite to the main bedroom. This will be fine for a family but may be a little awkward for two couples or a group of friends.

This place was great for our dog who enjoyed exploring the little back garden.

The flat was fairly clean, but we did come across some dust and dirty dishes.

Otherwise the flat has everything you need for an enjoyable stay by the seaside.

A lovely little terraced property just a few minutes walk from the coast and the main line of shops and restaurants in Whitstable. The property was clean and tidy when we arrived and all amenities worked. We had asked for two sets of logs to use with the wood burning stove, which unfortunately were not there, but these were delivered the next day by the very responsive customer care team. The wood stove is very effective and heats up the house very quickly. Although the central heating system is also adequate.

The bathtub was very spacious and the water came up to heat quickly. The beds were decent and there was enough space to unpack.

The only things I would note is that if you are intending to cook in the property, you will need to bring or buy all ingredients, including oils and salt/pepper (there is a fairly good size Sainsbury's Local just a few minutes walk away). The bathroom is through the main bedroom, so do be aware if multiple couples are staying, and the towels can be a little small, so if you like to wrap yourself up, then it may be worth bringing one along with you.

Lovely property and location but wasn't the cleanest and comfortable.

Bed was in poor condition and bed topper didn't fit the size of bed - also the back board of the bed was broken.
None of the windows would open downstairs and the oven was filth and constantly smoked when used.
I dropped a monopoly dice (I won the game btw!) under the sofa and it looked like it had never been clean.
I know it's difficult to clean dog hair after a visit but there were a lot all over the bedroom and sofa blankets.

Would you recommend this property to others if clean and few TLC things fixed :)
