Sitting directly on the seafront overlooking Kingsdown beach, Little Trafalgar is a charming cottage offering an idyllic escape by the sea. Perfect for couples, friends or small families, this welcoming cottage sleeps up to four guests and makes the most of its exceptional beachfront setting. Step through the wooden gate into the enclosed walled garden, a peaceful seaside haven where you can enjoy morning coffee, unwind with a book, or simply listen to the waves rolling onto the shore. Inside, the cottage is bright and inviting, thoughtfully arranged for relaxed holiday living. The cosy sitting room, complete with an open fire, is ideal for snug evenings after a day exploring the coast. Just beyond, the dining area leads through to a well equipped kitchen, making mealtimes easy and sociable.

Upstairs, the magic of the location truly comes into its own, with sea views stretching across Kingsdown’s pretty beach huts to the ever changing Channel beyond. Little Trafalgar offers two beautifully appointed bedrooms: one with a king size bed and the other a twin, ideal for children or friends. Both bedrooms benefit from their own separate bathrooms, providing comfort and privacy for all guests.

With thoughtful touches throughout and the beach just steps from the front door, the cottage lends itself equally well to leisurely seaside stays and refreshing coastal adventures.

Whether you’re planning long beach days, scenic cliff top walks or cosy fireside evenings by the sea, this delightful cottage offers an unforgettable Kingsdown escape in a wonderful setting.

The cottage is in a great location, with the sea across a small pebble beach road being able to hear & see the sea from the bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect.
However the overall cleanliness of the cottage left a lot to be desired, the kitchen was particularly grubby with dirty cutlery and dishes placed back in draws & cupboards, the fridge had to be cleaned before we could use it and the worktops, radiator next to the bin and cupboard doors had remains of previous holiday makers dried on food not what we were expecting or should have to deal with when we arrived.
We also had to let the agents know that the right hand weather board to the front door was completely rotten and had actually fallen off, additionally most of the downstairs sockets and lights weren’t working as the electrics had tripped on the main fuse board. Surely whoever had got the cottage ready for us would have noticed this before they left, the agents did the next day ask if we needed these issues fixed immediately but we declined as the door was still useable.
It was such a shame as the cottage could be perfect but in our opinion it needs a deep clean and repaint at the very least with a general maintenance programme in place given its location so close to the sea.
