Arthur’s Cottage is a lovely light, bright former fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Whitstable. Harbour Street with its independent boutique shops, artisan traders, cafes and restaurants is just a few hundred yards away, with the beach and harbour a short walk beyond.

On the ground floor is a sociable open plan sitting / dining room, with a door to the garden, and off this is the stylish kitchen and shower room. Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms, one ensuite. The garden is decked and is a great space to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring this historic fishing town.

Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

We had a great few days at Arthur’s Cottage. It was in such a perfect location and had everything we needed. It was cosy, clean and well equipped. Communication with Keeper’s Cottages was excellent.
