The Courtyard is a combination of the Granary and Great Barn and is perfect for a large groups. The Granary has a large kitchen diner with a table sitting 14/16.

This combination offers 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms plus spacious relaxing and socialising spaces just perfect for that getaway with family and friends.

After a great holiday last year at Kempley, I booked again for our family of 13.( 8 adults and 5 children btwn ages 10-2 years.) Bob and Pet are lovely hosts. The accommodation ( Great Barn and the Granary) & the swimming pool are great- and the play barn is such an asset ( particularly on the 1 day of rain.) The children loved the gentle spaniels ( which are not allowed in the accommodation). The welcome packs are fab- and kids collecting daily fresh eggs from the hens. Thank you Bob and Petula.

We booked both the Granary and Great Barn for 8 adults 2 children and a baby. The owners were extremely helpful in accommodating our dates and needs. The welcome pack in each home was locally produced and good quality. The Great Barn was exciting with it's upside down lay out, with a central spiral staircase. The Granary was traditional layout and had seating for all of us for main meals. Baby equipment was good and although our granddaughter was not crawling yet the owner would have fitted stairgates. Beds were very comfortable with lovely Egyptian sheets and lots of hot water in the showers and baths. The indoor pool was a great asset as was the play barn with trampoline, table tennis and other games for children and bigger children!
Grounds were great with interesting features and the owners sent us places to visit before we arrived. Eastnor Castle with its Easter Treasure hunt was a huge success, as was Puzzle Wood, though paths at the latter would be very slippery if wet.
The Granary and Great Barn are pet free but we were made aware that the owners had 3 dogs, who were very friendly. Bedroom configuration may not suit all families, but it was fine for us.
All in all a fabulous stay.

These beautiful barns provide an excellent place to spend a holiday. The scenery is stunning and reminded me of Italy and there lots of interesting places to explore. Children loved it for the swimming pool and games barn and plenty of outdoor play space.Pet and Bob are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome.

What a beautiful venue! Very well maintained, owners very nice and welcoming and went above beyond. Only comment (and its a small one) would be that the main bathroom could have done with a lock on the door (could have been an embarrassing moment if we weren't a close knit team !!)

A wonderful break. Grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. Lovely setting and we had great weather. Pool was ideal for five grandchildren and so safe. The pleasant surprise was the games barn. It was well used but would be a perfect venue in poor weather ( which we did not have)

We had an a great stay at Kempley Barns Courtyard, the location and property was amazing and beautifully laid out. We couldn't have wished for somewhere better to spend our time together.

Kempley Barns is the perfect setting for adults or families with children, who like outdoor life and activities. There was so much for children to do, that we didn't need to go anywhere else for entertainment. Swimming, sports and imaginative play filled their day, and made adults happy. Bob and Petula were such lovely hosts too, and welcomed us as part of their family. We had a food delivery to the barns to save shopping and local shops are only a few minutes drive away. The kitchen and entertaining facilities were very good. The two dogs, Maggie and Ella were so friendly and the children loved to play with them. The only down side was discovering the 'dog poo' around the garden before the children walked in it. However, this did not spoil our enjoyment and fun, and we will definitely be returning.

This is a really great place to stay. We used it for a family reunion over Easter. The Barns have been beautifully converted and are very comfortable. Outside there is lots to do and a paradise for children. Indoor swimming pool; small playground; playbarn with large trampoline, table tennis, badminton, snooker and even a cricket net; large pond with a couple of boats (the children particularly liked playing around with these to look at the wildlife in the ponds); wendy house; hammock; ropes to swing across the stream. 6 grandchildren and their parents stay again at Kempley and they still love it! The pool a huge success as was the Playbarn, trampoline, snooker, badminton, basketball, rowing machine and an armchair for an exhausted adult! Lots of fresh air and freedom to roam. All this with Newbridge Farm Park, Hampton Court Castle, Forest of Dean close by for those who wanted to cycle and Ledbury shops for the two that didn’t!
The last question youngest grandson asked me before leaving was “When can we comeback to Kempley Barns?”
