Kempley Barns: The Bullpen, Great Barn and Granary
A courtyard of three ancient stone barns and heated indoor pool nestling in our private valley surrounded by 50 acres of meadows, orchards, streams and ponds close to the Malvern Hills, Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and cathedral cities of Gloucester Worcester and Hereford. The barns are perfectly placed for trips out or relaxing days in.
I booked a family weekend away at Kempley Barns. From day dot Pet and Bob were at hand to make sure the booking was completed without any issues. They made our stay very comfortable. The property itself was cosy and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The swimming pool is an added bonus. It seems as it nothing is impossible for Bob and Pet. Thank you again guys and we look forward to visiting you again soon.
This is a really great place to stay. We used it for a family reunion over Easter. The Barns have been beautifully converted and are very comfortable. Outside there is lots to do and a paradise for children. Indoor swimming pool; small playground; playbarn with large trampoline, table tennis, badminton, snooker and even a cricket net; large pond with a couple of boats (the children particularly liked playing around with these to look at the wildlife in the ponds); wendy house; hammock; ropes to swing across the stream. Barbecues available and a fire pit. Petula and Bob and
Arriving at Kempley was just as magical second time around to pull in off the drive and see the Barns nestling below in the valley prompted youngest grandson to want to jump out of the car and roll down the hill! Avoiding the thousand of pear trees on the way.
The Bullpen is the perfect nest for two (all the grandchildren stayed with their parents in the other two Barns).
Lovely welcome from Pet and Bob, nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciate your kindness to Ellie!
The Bullpen has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The pool was enjoyed by all and the play barn ...more
We had a wonderful week at Kempley Barns in August. Our grandchildren loved the swimming pool and the games barn. We adults loved the space and tranquility - especially taking the little rowing boat around the lake and sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. The surrounding area is lovely and we enjoyed exploring the Wye valley.
Would definitely recommend.
