We loved our stay at Kempley barns! Bob and Pet were very helpful! They were great when we had a mini emergency! Great having visits from the family’s friendly dogs. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a large number of people. Lovely setting with beautiful walks and local history. The pool was lovely and well used by the kids. Plenty of rooms to spread out and enjoy the property’s gardens Thanks to Bob and Pet for being perfect hosts.
The Granary is a vast barn sleeping 8 people. Kitchen well equipped and bedrooms lovely size with plenty of storage space and beds very comfortable. The 14 seat dining table was a bonus as we were a party of twelve, three generations, and occupied both the barns, subsequently all our cooking was done in The Granary. Swimming pool was well used as we had seven children with us. The surrounding fields and orchards were vast and the children had so much space to play and explore. The Great Barn is a lovely place to stay for a family of six or three couples. Beds very comfortable and bedrooms a good size with plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Although we didn’t use the kitchen (we were a family of 12, three generations, and had all our meals in The Granary because it seated 14 round the dining table) it was fully equipped. Welcome pack on arrival of milk, bread, eggs, tea and coffee. Surrounding the properties are acres and acres of land where the children could roam freely and adults not having to worry about them.
