We had an enjoyable stay in a comfortable cottage/shiel on the banks of the Tweed. It is simply furnished but equipped with everything we needed. The location is wonderful - the river is quite wide at this point but views change as the tidal effect reaches this far so at one point in the day the river will be full and at another the level will be lower and flowing past a shingle bank. Great for bird life! Parking is on grass immediately adjacent so very convenient.
We have stayed at West Ord over many years. It was lovely to return under the new owners. The standard was really good and we were welcomed warmly by Tammy.
