This beautiful bothy style cottage sleeps two and is located on the shores of Cleggan Bay, close to the fantastic Aughrus Peninsula. The house has uninterrupted views across Cleggan bay over to Cleggan Head and a clear evening guarantees a spectacular sunset. Just a short walk from the village, you can take a trip out to Inishbofin for the day or enjoy a pint and crab salad in Olivers while watching the local fishermen unloading their catch.

I enjoyed the stay at the Bothy very much. It would have been easier if I had a car, because Cleggan is quite remote and there are only 3 busses a day. If you have a car it's an excellent starting point to hike and enjoy the magical scenery.

The Bothy was absolutely beautiful in a great location. Unfortunately I had to return home after 2 nights

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the cottage is clean, cozy, fully outfitted, and decorated with a personal touch, there is a beautiful view, it is a great location for exploring the region, and it is walking distance to a cool village with amazing seafood and live music.

Perfect property for two and situated within walking distance of Cleggan Village.It's a new property so everything is new and modern. Tastefully furnished. Very good/modern plumbing system so hot water always available. Property is situated far enough away from the main house and you have privacy. There is a nice raised area to sit out in which we did on the sunny evenings to watch the sun go down. Great views of the harbour, the bay and surrounding area from the windows which all add to the experience. Will definitely stay again.

The Bothy is a wonderful cottage that has been refurbished to the highest standard. It has fantastic sea views and is only a short walk from the village. Highly recommended.
