Fabulous experience all round. Excellent location for exploring North Devon. The cottage was well presented, spotlessly clean, well decorated and equipped. The grounds were beautifully maintained and all staff onsite were courteous and helpful. Would recommend without hesitation and we look forward to returning one day soon.
We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful holiday venue in North Devon. Everything was spotless on arrival, and the attention to detail really stood out. Pipistrelle barn was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to explore the coast and local attractions. My granddaughter loved the animals, swimming pool and well equipped play area.The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. Excellent value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!
We had a truly fantastic time at the Manor over a long weekend with the family. Sharing special time with all the family. The house and grounds are delightful and made for an ideal setting for our murder mystery evening. We played tennis, boules and croquet. Also held a yoga session in magnificent studio. Easy walking to pub and golf at local club. Couldn’t have asked for more. Didn’t even make it to the games room! Thank you Alice. We plan to return one day.
Coulscott is a great stay with young children. Lovely pool, play areas, animals and friendly staff. Cottages tastefully decorated and comfortable with everything you need. Would highly recommend
Beautiful cottage on a lovely site. Well presented and comfy. Onsite team greeted us to make sure we were settled. Great for families and dogs. Honesty box shop with food and extras to buy was a nice touch.

Old Barn is in a delightful area with beautiful views. Lovely having use of a pool & hot tub. Children loved the animals & soft play. Having the dog field also great. Think certain areas looking bit tired & could do with new tea towels & bathroom towels. Only gripe was having to strip beds, empty all the bins & do recycling & be out by 9.30 am. We did it - just!!
We booked Coulscott House for a long weekend with our children and grandchildren (11 of us) to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. From booking the site, when Alice always came back really quickly with answers to any questions, through to the actual stay when Dom and Jay were so helpful, the service we received was great. The grounds are brilliant for kids, the alpacas and guinea pigs were a big hit with the grandchildren, as was the hot tub and pool. Lovely site and we had a super week.We travel a lot and although the cottage was very nice we were expecting perhaps a higher standard when described as luxury.A few little niggles which we didn't worry about but Alice would have dealt with we are sure very promptly. Parking is very limited.There are electric car chargers which is great however we had an issue accessing these as non electric vehicles blocked access.There were only two electric cars on site and we think the site was not full.Possibly overkill but large signs indicating for electric vehicles chargers would be sensible but I acc...more
I booked The Georgian House for a family celebration of my special birthday. It was the perfect space for the 8 of us, having large rooms to accommodate us all without feeling crowded. It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped, even providing dishwasher & washing machine tablets. We found lots of games for the children in the cupboard and the house's own games room with table tennis and table football was well utilised.
