We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful holiday venue in North Devon. Everything was spotless on arrival, and the attention to detail really stood out. Pipistrelle barn was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to explore the coast and local attractions. My granddaughter loved the animals, swimming pool and well equipped play area.The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. Excellent value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!

We were looking for somewhere to stay where we could really switch off and Pipistrelle Barn didn't let us down. The weather was incredible and the barn is tucked away under the trees and very private. Waking up to the birds singing was so lovely. Coulscott is close to beaches and lovely places to visit. We didn't want to leave and will be staying for longer next time! The staff were so friendly too. I would highly recommend a stay there. Thank you and we will be back soon!

We had a wonderful time staying in Pippestrelle Barn. The accommodation was perfect, excellent quality and any extra requests we had were met quickly (extra kids bits/ hot tub on late)
We loved the communal space as it was perfect for our 2 and 4 year old. We used the indoor pool, soft play and play park every day; and it was great to visit the animals too.
Alice and her team were very helpful and allowed us to stay a later for check out to accommodate nap times.
I would highlight recommendation the barn and would even consider booking out the entire space for a larger family gathering.

We stayed at Coulscott House in the Old Farm House two years ago and were wowed by the beautiful grounds, easy access to the farm animals, provision of family-friendly activities such as the indoor pool and the spectacular views of the surrounding valley and farmland. This time we returned to stay in their newly converted Pipistrelle Barn, and ontop of all the wonderful surrounding facilities and landscape, we enjoyed an extremely comfortable stay! The kids loved playing in the open living space and on the front decking. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We are booked to return to Coulscott House in July we enjoyed it that much!!
