From the moment we arrived we received 5* treatment. Yasmin was warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much hassle. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The lodge was very clean and cosy, and beds super comfortable. There were lots of animals on the farm and Yasmin spent an hour of her time showing us round and allowing our son to feed them. The views are outstanding and location perfect for exploring the IOW.

We had a lovely time at the lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. The garden had artificial grass which was good for keeping doggy paws clean but also access to the owners field. We enjoyed seeing all the animals sheep, dogs, horses and alpacas. There was a footpath from the cottage to The Pointer Inn which we visited a couple of times. We travelled all over the island going to pubs, castles and beaches and it was a good base. Owners were very friendly welcoming us but leaving us to ourselves unless we wanted help.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Both of us are disabled but I took suction wall bars with me to help me on the toilet and use in the shower. There are quite high steps into the property but I was ok with that. I was a little limited on walking around the property because my walker would not fit everywhere but it did not really impact on us. Lovely quiet place to sleep in but some noise in the early morning from the farm vehicles, which is to be expected on a working farm.

The only other comment I will make is that the fridge is very small and low down but everything else was excellent. Yasmin could not be more helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Queen Bower Lodge in early September. On our arrival we were met by Yasmin who was very friendly and answered any questions that we had. There was a welcome gift in the lounge which was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The accommodation was comfortable and homely - lots of nice touches. It was useful having a larger shower cubicle was particularly as my wife has a disability. However, a shower caddy would have been useful to accommodate shower gel etc.
Queen Bower is in a very pleasant rural setting with access to many walks. The information pack and leaflets were helpful in planning. I’m we will return to Queen Bower again.

Very dog friendly. Near to beaches and local shops. Brilliant walks nearby without having to drive anywhere. Owner very friendly but not intrusive. We helped with feeding the lambs which was wonderful. Very good pubs nearby serving great food

The cottage was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard.
Hosts were welcoming and friendly.
Well equipped with everything we needed. Couldn't fault it in any way and would definitely stay here again.

Cottage owners just next door, very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, ensuite shower room and main shower room excellent, and ideal for walking the many footpaths and bridleways,and only 10 mins by car to sandown or shanklin. Will be coming back again

Our second stay at the lodge. So glad to have found this little gem in a beautiful, peaceful location. The lodge is very comfortable and well equipped. Yasmin is the perfect host & her homemade cakes are delicious!

This cottage was absolutely perfect for our weeks stay with my friends dog in October. There is plenty of walking from the door and the vast network of walking trails on the island are only a short drive away if you fancy starting somewhere else. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to knock up a meal. We ate in Tansy the Vegan restaurant in Godshill which was excellent as was The Pointer Inn at Newchurch and the smoking lobster in Cowes. Breakfast and a stretch of our legs at the Garlic farm on the way to the ferry set us up for the day we left.

What a wonderful place. Absolutely beautiful surroundings with plenty of walks. Everything was clean. Host was nearby if needed but not at all intrusive. The resident dogs are a delight.

We had a great week. This is a perfect place for families also with dogs. Our Springer Milo really enjoyed his stay and loved the local walks on the many bridle ways and footpaths and local copse.
Very short journey to the beautiful beach of both Sandown and Shanklin and the many attractions on the Island.

We would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

The stay was better than expected. A lovely location with the lodge beyond expectation. Located on a farm but still very quiet. I would recommend the lodge to anyone.

We stayed at the property last year and were not disappointed with our return this year. Upon arrival, the property was spotless and we had no concerns about the Covid situation. Yasmin , the owner again greeted us with a tray of freshly baked cakes. The property provides an excellent central base for visiting everywhere on the island. There numerous good restaurants within very easy reach. I would thoroughly recommend this property and would certainly stay there again if ever we revisit the Island.

This accommodation is of a high standard. The owners are lovely and have gone the extra mile to add some nice little touches to make the property feel homely, welcoming and very comfortable.They have thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Including a plate of freshly baked chocolate muffins, waiting for you on arrival.
The property is situated on the owners farm, it is peaceful and has spectacular views across the countryside. It is perfectly situated for walkers and there is a handy folder in the bungalow with many walks highlighted. Everything on the island is within easy reach by car or there is a good bus service just down the road so its an ideal place to explore the IOW.
All in all I would give this 5 stars and hopefully we will return in the near future.
