Staying at headlands farm was very good easy to book easy to find very clean and tidy lovely lodge with all the facilities you need fire pit down by the lake was very nice great stay it’s my second time staying and will very likely be staying again next year

Our 2nd stay at Headlands this year. Both in Kingfisher lodge. A very comfortable lodge, with the added bonus of using the lakes to fish. Much more to do in the area. Looking forward to our next visit.

My second time staying at headlands Farm and it didn't disappoint. Kingfisher Lodge is well appointed and very comfortable, the location is lovely and i was able to fish directly from the lodge...although the fishing is hard work as its the specimen lake. The lodge was immaculately clean and I made use of the cafe during my stay which was great for a breakfast and an afternoon coffee and cake.
Overall I would highly recommend Headlands Farm and will no doubt be back.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderfully restful stay at Kingfisher Lodge at Headlands Farm, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The lodge was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped – a true home away from home.

One of the lovely touches that really made our stay special was the welcome gift of fresh farm eggs, milk, orange juice, and a delicious loaf of bread. It was such a kind and generous gesture, and it immediately set the tone for a relaxing lakeside getaway.

The setting itself is peaceful and full of natural beauty, and we were lucky enough to have regular visits from a Kingfisher, which felt like such a magical bonus. The BBQ was also a really nice touch, perfect for enjoying a quiet meal outdoors while soaking in the surroundings.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and we both slept so well during our time there. The peaceful environment, combined with the cozy interior, made it easy to unwind and enjoy some real downtime together.

If we could offer just a couple of small suggestions (purely to enhance an already lovely stay), it would be to consider slightly larger bath towels for added comfort, and perhaps a dehumidifier or improved extraction in the bathroom, especially during the colder months when ventilation can be a bit more difficult. These are by no means complaints – just gentle ideas to make the experience even better.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Kingfisher Lodge is a gem – perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and recharge in comfort by the lake.

Headlands Farm provided the most incredible stay as a couple. The surroundings were beautiful, a really peaceful location, gorgeous accommodation with all details considered. A very generous welcome pack to get your started with breakfast etc., cute coffee shop onsite and a good selection of activities (padel onsite, tennis nearby, for children there is a play area and the local wildlife to keep them occupied, plenty of space to run around!)
We absolutely plan on returning and will not hesitate to recommend to others.

Perfect stay for our family moon, the lodge was in excellent condition, very modern and had everything we needed. Our son loved exploring the grounds and loved the woodland play area.

Great stay at the kingfisher lodge. Good value for money. Clean and cosy lodge. Plenty to see and do. Excellent location. Scenic views from the lodge and great fishing with an abundance of wildlife.
Throughly enjoyed using the coffee shop daily during our stay and will definatly be looking at returning next year. Thankyou!

Kingfisher Lodge, is finished to a high standard, both myself and my Wife, had a really relaxing and chilled out time here. The location is fantastic, overlooking the Top Lake, and the surrounding grounds are kept to a high standard. Id certainly recommend this lodge, if you just want to Chill out, or fish, & Chill out.
I'm sure that we're be visiting kingfisher Lodge, again, soon in the near future.

What a super place and lovely owners. We had a short 2 night break whilst our son was in Greece on holidays, so we got away with the dog in a very hot week indeed. We loved it, great simple fishing, quiet and super accommodation amongst splendid countryside. We fancied an extra night and Alex had a spare lodge so we seamlessly moved to another for the final night. Cannot fault the place, we will definitely be coming back and its a lovely spot for a chilled out few days, few beers, BBQ and a spot of relaxed fishing. Many thanks guys. Mark

Stunning lodge with everything you need for a relaxing comfortable stay. Alex added personal touches that made it very welcoming. Set in a beautiful location with the added luxury of your own fishing platform. BBQs ( wood provided) burner on platform. Loads to do for all generations and the cafe is second to none. ( recommend the cooked breakfast) so nice we extended our stay.
