Weekend away for husbands birthday. Cosy and well equipt lodge. Peaceful lake for fishing. Lovely touch was having breakfast items available for the first morning. Will definately return.
Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. The welcome pack came in very useful. Wouldn't hesitate in going back again.
Myself and my partner stayed in Mallard lodge for the weekend. Such beautiful grounds with everything you could possible need. The lodge we had the pleasure of staying in was so Beautiful, clean and picturesque. The view of the lake from our bed was just perfect. Plenty of wildlife to be seen and the added bonus of the farm animals. WiFi and breakfast items included was such a lovely surprise. Thank you for having us. We will definately be back for another visit and will absolutely spread the word about the amazing lodges and lake you have to offer.
Our third visit and still love the place. All the extras are great and appreciated, but if it meant losing them to bring the nightly rate down, it would be even better! Except love the eggs and it would be nice to purchase some as well. This time I did the circular walk which took about an hour and very enjoyable . A couple of new additions for health and well being which we haven’t tried and looking forward to seeing what the new building in the carpark is going to be
Lovely lodge on the edge of the lake. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Decking looking over the lake was great. Everything was easy to locate in the lodge. Alex and Alex were both very nice hospitable people and checked we had no problems and they were very friendly. Lovely place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves. We would recommend staying at Headlands and we’d happily stay there again.
A peaceful lodge, beautiful location. Unfortunately both swims could not be used due to weed, but the fish hadn’t long spawned and weed could not be cleared. Boiler very noisy in main bedroom. Kettle very heavy and poor pour. Partner caught 2 personally bests. Will come back again
