Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Peaceful area, stunning location, perfect lodge with everything you would need and a beautiful lake to fish. Will definitely be back.

Found Headlands farm fishery through YouTube, followed a few fishermen's pages who had fished the top lake, and knowing it wasn't to far away from home decided to investigate a little further. Checked out Headlands website and had a good root about, imagine my suprise upon finding out they offer lakeside lodges/ retreats? Alongside many other features for the family to enjoy whilst I was left to while away the days fishing. So booked and eagerly awaited the visit. Wasn't disappointed. Absolute peach of a find. Utterly fabulous find. We came to enjoy short trip away to celebrate a birthday. Headlands farm exceeded our expectations. It's beautiful, relaxing beyond imagination, tranquil and very well designed. We will be back, very soon!
Oh my goodness what to say about Headlands. We are so sad to leave! Me, my husband and our little dog stayed for three nights and had the best time ever. We played padel, used the wellness centre, booked in for massages and visited the amazing club house for breakfast and lunch - so this is a very well informed review. We have never felt so peaceful. We will absolutely be returning, so worth our journey from North Wales.
We had a wonderful stay in Willow Lodge. Despite it being over 30 degrees outside, the lodge was very cool. The decking and outside areas have lots of shade, which was perfect to keep us and our doggie very happy and cool. Lodge is very modern and comfortable. The café on site is fantastic - Don't miss out on a breakfast bagel! Although, as usual, my husband was fishing most of the time, there were plenty of local walks for me and the dog, and Spearywell Woods is only a short drive and is very cool and shady.
