Fantastic location whether fishing or not. Everything you need for a relaxing break. All very clean and attention to detail. Fishing very good if that’s your thing ( was for me). I stayed here for a couple of days with my family. We had a wonderful time! Our son enjoyed seeing all the animals, the fire pit the wonderful forest trails near by. We had a tasty lunch at the farm coffee shop too!
celebrated partners birthday here it was very relaxing and peaceful in the kingfisher lodge, they’re all very spaced out and private, we also were accompanied by lots of chickens that were so friendly and lots of ducks on the lake. I’d say the value for money is great since we were left fresh eggs, bread, milk and essentials! The bed was extremely comfy it was a shame there was only one night available as would have stayed the whole weekend.
Lodge is absolutely impeccable! we arrived & the first thing we realised was how clean it smelt, it was absolutely faultless! There was everything you needed, the bed was comfy, shower was incredible, the little finishing touches were lovely & unexpected! The log burner & wood was one of the highlights for us, it was lovely sitting out of an evening on the swim next to the lake with the fire on. The only downside was the fishing, my partner is a keen Carp Angler & he found that particular swim was very weedy, however we still had a lovely time & we can’t wait to go back! Xx
Wow where do I start , what a beautiful quiet comfortable lodge , beautifully decorated enormous decking to enjoy the peace and watch the millions of birds on the feeder . Having the chickens visitor us every morning just topped it . Thank you
Just arrived back from our first stay at Headlands. Family of 5, celebrating our youngest son’s 13th birthday. Everything was perfect from start to finish, used all of the facilities, wellness, padel, fishing, coffee shop. Friendly owners who made us feel very welcome as did all of the team, Many thanks we hope to come back soon!
