Such a gorgeous 3 night stay in the cottage. There were 5 of us and a small dog.
The bedrooms are delightful, I fell in love with the yellow one.
Everything you could need was available in the kitchen as we cooked in and had dinner at the pub next door (great food)
Cosy log burner, 2 big sofas so plenty of room to relax. Lovely soft white towels.
Perfect spot for walking, gorgeous views, saw dear from the back garden. Just next to visitor centre which has a great cafe. Brewery also lovely just along from the cottage.
Sad to leave this wee haven and would love to return.

Had a fantastic stay at the cottage, would recommend if you want a peaceful cozy break with lovely scenery and walks on your doorstep, cottage is spacious but homely and well equipped. Ideal if you have dogs as garden is enclosed and all needs catered for.

We had a very nice 3day stay in this lovely cottage. Great location. Cottage was cold when we first arrived, but warmed with log fire (just takes time).

Positives..perfect location, comfy lounge, comfy beds, modern well stocked kitchen, plenty of hot water and heat, loads of firewood.
Negatives..no hoover, no tea tray, heating controls took a bit of working out.
Overall, 5 of us had a brilliant time and I would recommend.

Clean and comfortable cottage, clearly recently redecorated in a very convenient location for some excellent walking. Very close to sycamore gap and an excellent pub for meals at good prices and Northern portions.
The dogs weren't just accepted, I felt they were actively welcomed, leads, collapsible water bowl, poo bags, torches, cage and bed all provided which accompanied the tub of dog biscuits. A third dog was arranged at no extra cost.
They loved lying by the rayburn after a long walk.
Better instructions on use of the rayburn and heating would have been welcomed.
The logs and kindling provided with an honesty box was very warming.
Totally recommend the lovely characterful farmhouse.
