Absolutely beautiful apartment in an outstanding area. Extremely well stocked kitchen which was a real benefit for me as I was living there whilst renovations were taking place on my property! Comfy beds, very clean and beautifully designed. This area is wonderful - I moved here so it is well worth a visit!

The accommodation was ideally located for our needs whilst walking the Pennine Journey. We could easily catch the local buses.
There were a few niggles, in that the two single beds could not be set up as a double, there were slopes on both sides of the roof, which restricted the usability of the kitchen area for food preparation, and the fridge was small without a freezer compartment.
In addition, access to the first floor apartment was via a flight of stairs, with no outside footwear allowed on the first floor.
The exact location of the apartment was not made available at the time of booking.
There is reference in the provided details to "Burnstones", which is within walking distance of an excellent inn, the Kirkstyle Inn.
However, the actual location is 1.5 miles south of Burnstones in Slaggyford, so it was a drive to the pub - Ok if you have car.
For anyone travelling light and only staying overnight, most of these issues are easily ignored.
However, on our 5 night stay, we found the combination of issues unhelpful and would not recommend for longer stays.

Recommended for anyone coming through, unless they're particularly tall, it being an attic location.
