The Lodge offers ground floor accommodation throughout.

The spacious main living area is open plan and has an impressive vaulted ceiling with French doors leading outside to a full length verandah which overlooks the trout lake. Guests can enjoy meals out on the verandah and watch the resident wildlife which includes kingfishers, swallows, barn owls, hares and ducks to name a few. The second lake which is stocked with carp is just across the driveway.

There is ample parking.

Swallows was a lovely lodge to stay in, very clean and comfortable had every thing you need for your stay.peacefull the view from the lodge was beautiful.the lodge itself is Very large. in all we had a lovely stay.would recommended to anyone wanting a relaxing stay as well as the fishing which is very good too.

Swallows Lodge is in an ideal situation on a farm, overlooking a trout lake with another carp lake nearby. My husband fully enjoyed the fishing and I loved the beautiful situation and views. With only one other lodge on the farm, it was very quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the verandah for breakfast and at other times during the day. Everything necessary was provided inside the lodge which was spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future. Thank you.

Lost count of how many times we've stayed now. It's just a beautiful place to unwind, peaceful and at one with nature.
The cluster of surrounding small towns are all a pleasure to visit with a great range of shops, pubs and eateries, though you need to go no further than The Buck in Rumburgh for great food, drink and hospitality.
I could eulogise endlessly about the many attributes of this Suffolk gem, from the delicios home made cake you will find on your arrival to the excellent fishing on site and would struggle to find any reason why anyone could not enjoy a stay at Rumburgh Farm.
We will be back again next year.

We stayed in the swallow lodge, and it is absolutely 1st class, there is everything you need and more, including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Even when we asked for more bedding as my wife is disabled and sometimes has to use the spare bedroom, Charlotte came over straight away and sorted it out for us, the free WiFi is a lovely touch as our mobile signals were hit and miss.
The peace and quiet is the main attraction, sitting on the veranda listening to all the birds singing was heaven.
The trout lake is packed with some very big fish, around the 3 - 4 lb (+) mark , although we were allowed to take some for the pot, we didn't.
The carp lake over the road didn't produce a single bite, but that's fishing?. You must visit Bungay and DISS , two very lovely places.
This has to be in the top three holiday places we have stayed it.
Thoroughly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful holiday , if we could give it 6* we would .

Our tenth year of staying at the lodge and never been dissapointed with the accomodation or venue. Had some great fishing while staying here as well.
