Loved staying in the lodge we had a fantastic week. Lots of wildlife and peace and quiet. Enjoyed strolling around the farm and daughter did longer walks in the area. Sitting out on the veranda every evening was very relaxing. Did struggle a bit with the oven but got the hang of it eventually. Halesworth was great for all necessities. We also had some lovely days out at Carlton marshes, Minsmere and Sutton Hoo. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely week at Kingfisher Lodge , welcomed with home made biscuits and milk to make a much needed cup of tea ! We were fortunate it only rained one day so were able to fish or should I say try most days . Sadly no luck on either pond as the summer put paid to the trout due to lack of oxygen and the owner had lost many fish and we had no luck at all on the course lake . However the wildlife was wonderful watching a pair of hares and the herons around the area. The lodge is excellent and very comfortable delighted to see a coffee machine !
