This was a very good cottage for our young family. It was comfortable, good value for money and in an excellent location to meet up with our wider family.
After staying in Wheal Dream last year we went bigger and chose Forge this time - and we will definitely be returning there! It was cosy and spacious - clean throughout and so cool during the hot weather. Everything you want is there. We relaxed from the moment we entered the property and seeing the wildlife, flowers and the sun every day was just sublime. Thankyou for the milk and biscuits - a lovely touch. Although we did not see Caja during our stay, she is always at the end of the phone if you need anything and the cleaner we spoke to was lovely. The before care was excellent too...more
A cottage which impressed as soon as we walked through the door. Plenty of space in the kitchen - lounge - diner with comfy sofas. Decent sized bathroom and a double bedroom with plenty of space to walk around the (comfy) bed. As the weather was warm it was was great to be able to open windows wide front and back to get a cooling through breeze. The twin bedroom was OK too, a bit more snug on space but still with a wardrobe & chest of drawers. We loved our stay at Trenance Farm Cottages. The cottage is cosy and has everything you need. Very beautiful surroundings, nice flowers and trees, great pool! Nice playgrounds. Very handy that you can wash and dry your clothes and towels for free and hang them to dry. Supermarket and pubs nearby, walking distance. We loved the cricket game at Saturday afternoon. Great walks at the nearby coast and beaches at drive distance. Only minus for the Sky cottage is that the garden is around the corner next to the washroom. Very noisy. Comfortable for 6 people and very well located for exploring the Lizard. Pool and games room great for the kids. Cottage itself well equipped if a little dated. Lovely walks straight outside the door.
Lovely relaxing place to stay with shared outdoor pool, games room and laundry facilities in a stunning and quiet part of Cornwall. Good food places and the sea (clean for swimming) within walking distance or a short drive away. I've been coming to Trenance for many years, both with family and friends and as a solo traveller - the family run set up over 3 generations has been much appreciated, nearby if needed.
Our week at Gweal Cottage was peaceful and sunny. Just what we needed and big exercise fields for your furry pooch. Always look forward to our Trenance holiday and Tamara and Caja will always go that extra mile to help you you with stay. Very low key friendly atmosphere. Just a super venue to relax in. My family enjoyed staying for a week and the communication was great. The cottage decor and equipment (play room) was a bit tired but the kids enjoyed it and we had a lovely holiday overall. The pool was a great bonus and location excellent for visiting nearby beaches. Overall I’d recommend given the more competitive price compared to other cottages in the area.
This is comfortable accommodation in an excellent location and good value for money. We have stayed here in the last two years and it has been perfect for our needs.
Huis is basic maar prima. Ieder huisje heeft een privé zitje. Let op: alleen picknicktafel en bank, geen zonnestoelen. Zwembad vonden de kinderen heerlijk, was verwarmd. Locatie vonden we top! Op loopafstand van mooi strand en ook van Mulland cove.
