Last time we came (in the bothy) and this time in the school room, whilst sitting in the garden in the highland sunshine I start to hear the Fleetwood Mac song in my head on repeat "if I live to see the seven wonders, I'll make a path to the rainbow's end, I'll never life to match the beauty again - the rainbows end". No more needs to be said. Except as a tiny suggestion though it would help if the school room had a 2 way mirror on the post, as you cant see round the the bend especially from the left coming out the drive. A secluded pretty cottage in a beautiful location! Stunning estate with the freedom to roam with only sheep & wildlife for neighbours! Quiet and private with views that make it hard to leave the windows! Beautifully furnished with a huge inviting sitting room including a wood burner that adds to the cosiness! The cottage was thoughtfully decorated for our Christmas stay with kind Christmas touches including a card and treats for both humans and dogs alike ! We felt so welcome. The property was excellent in every way. Spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Great views and good walks for our dogs. All aspects from booking to arriving for our stay was easy and efficient. Willa was extremely helpful and could be contacted should the need arise. Would certainly recommend Ederline Estate and without hesitation would stay again. .
Another beautiful stay at Finchairn. We are already counting down the days to our October visit. The most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on combined with stunning views and a cosy wood burner make for absolute bliss.
Lovely spacious & comfortable accommodation for our group of friends in a beautiful location Plenty of parking & outbuilding for storage of bikes/canoe equipment Bedrooms/bathrooms were a bit cool but electric blankets a nice treat. The School House is a well kitted and thoroughly modernised old School House. We found it very comfortable and well located to see the many historical attractions of mid Argyll.
