A fabulous converted barn, the Outbuildings is a luxury holiday home that’s ideal for larger groups of family or friends. With ample space, great amenities and stunning views across Anglesey to Snowdonia, it is a very popular rental.

Desperately in need of maintenance!

Please see below a list of issues we have found

- The boys room toilet- we were informed before we arrived that there were issues with the toilet and a handyman was going to look at the issue. We checked in and called the next day to inform you the toilet was still leaking and it had leaked out into the bedroom and so the bedroom carpet was wet. A plumber was sent promptly and he resolved the issue however there was no follow up call to check everything had been resolved. As a result the bedroom carpet is still wet and the room now has a damp smell to it.

- Both remote controls for the TVs are very damaged, both with no caps over the batteries and the upstairs remote the front section has been snapped off completely

- The downstairs TV has poor signal meaning we could not watch the TV, especially channels 1 and 2

- The garden swing chair has broken and just been left on the floor outside.

- The cover by the pool table on the floor is loose and a trip hazard

- At least 2 dining room chairs are broken, the back comes off completely. Once causing my nephew to fall backwards as he pulled the chair out to use, and the back came off in his hand.

- The hob top has a chip and crack in, which caused my sister in law to cut her hand when cleaning down.

- A curtain by the bar is missing- the curtain pole has been "fixed" with masking tape, which obviously will not support the weight of the curtain, which I assume is why it has been removed.

- There are several ripped and stained cushions. Upstairs on the large sofa, and the cover of the pew by the pool table upstairs, and the red and white sofa downstairs.

- The Fridge does not shut properly and so beeps constantly.

- Both toilets in the downstairs bathrooms do not flush properly.

- On arrival there was a very strong smell of cleaning products and possibly air fresheners. When this died down, there was a musty smell in the first bedroom upstairs and along the corridor leading to the back bedrooms.

- Throughout the kitchen, utility room and bedrooms cupboard doors are loose and do not shut properly.( kick board under sink in kitchen broken)

- The Hoover supplied doesn't work, the hose has completely come away from the hoover.

- And finally, which isn't acceptable at all, the state of the pillow we found when stripping the bed.
This is something which should be regularly checked and changed as a matter of hygiene.

1 or 2 issues I can understand, but the above is too much to have to accept!

We celebrated an 80th here, it accommodated all our family very comfortably.
The bedrooms are all en-suite and spacious, the kitchen is large and fully equipped.
The dining space is superb as is the mezzanine which has the snooker table and large sofa area for family relaxing time.
The pink shepherds hut outside is a lovey quirky touch.
The grounds are well looked after and tidy, and the tennis courts were an added bonus.
The views are stunning and Snowdon didn’t disappoint.
It’s about 10 mins in the car to the beach..
All in all we had a FAB stay. Thank you.
