Situated opposite Plas, another of our Anglesey holiday cottages, Plas Bach literally means ‘little hall’ and is the perfect romantic bolthole for two. Giving you the quintessential Welsh cottage experience, thick stone walls are topped by a slate roof, and the sound of the sea beckons from beyond quaint sash windows.

Disappointed

Only stayed for 4 nights but was prepared to come home after 2. The ceilings were low, especially upstairs, and was constantly banging my head. (I’m 6’1”) Never stayed anywhere else where there is a toilet in the living room !! Advertised with Wi-Fi but it is very poor. We found out from the visitors book that you need to go across road to the other property, and hopefully if anybody is in they can give you the password. We got it but the signal is pants and we gave up after a day. Upstairs the bath is at the end of the bed, this is unsafe as there is no bath mat and very slippy getting in and out at the same time as stooping because the roof is even lower. There are 2 chairs outside which we suspect were in the property when it was built, they are rusted through and some trusting soul is going to have a nasty fall. It is in a lovely position for walking and the beach with a pub just 15 mins walk away, it’s just a shame that the adverts don’t show the real property that you are renting. Finally there are no instructions when you arrive, nothing about internet or anything, thanks goodness for the people that wrote about the password next door though it was wasted. The only instruction is fixed to the wall asking you not to turn the heating up because it overloads the system. We looked in the fuse box and OMG it’s black and has obviously been burning at some point. Come on owners get your act together, it could be so much better.h
