Murmur y Coed (Murmur of the Trees), is a remote Anglesey getaway with its own wood-fired hot tub , tucked on the edge of a woodland with magnificent countryside views, but within easy reach of all local amenities.

Il start by saying we go to Angelsey every year and Murmur Y Coed is my kids new favourite place to stay. The place is small and cosy but does have everything you need for a great holiday. We had a great time there and certainly enjoyed the hot tub. The kids also liked the isolation as no one could hear them (they are pretty loud!)

The only things I will point out (I’m not saying they are negative but worth noting):

1) the showers are pretty weak and only 1 of the 2 was powerful enough to shower in
2) the WiFi isn’t very fast so you struggle to stream anything on the TV

These didn’t particularly bother us as we still had 1 shower and just played games rather than watched the TV.

For the price we payed for a week in the Easter holidays it was an absolute bargain.

Il also say Oyster Holiday Cottages are extremely responsive to any issues you may have during your stay.

Lovely spot, quiet and secluded. Everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Had a problem with hot water which was quickly resolved by the Oyster team, great service.

Hot tub was great, weather was less so!

Booked this break for my adult Grandaughter and myself at short notice she hadn't been well and it was a treat for her.

It really couldn't have been more perfect the wood fired hot tub was fabulous sitting in there watching the bats flying around at dusk then later looking at the stars was magical.

We were helped by Oyster Cottages concierge service to book a massage with Kate and have a meal cooked for us by Alex Goldsmith we were truly spoiled.

Perfectly situated to explore the area too.

Thank you all at Oyster Cottages. x

A cozy cottage with all the necessary amenities in a beautiful, peaceful location. The hot tub was ready with clean, hot water upon arrival. Comfortable beds and good showers. Highly recommended!

My son and I stayed two nights here.
The place is gorgeous - quiet and brilliant for a restful holiday. The decoration is lovely and I loved the colours used!
It was our first visit to Anglesey - all of the places we wanted to see were not far away. Our Sunday lunch at Catch 22, Valley was excellent.

Just one thing was tricky when we arrived - we couldn’t find the key safe. After a phone call, we found it on the storage unit by the gate as one arrives at the driveway to the cottage.

Overall, we had a great weekend and I would stay again.
