The B&B is ideally placed by the canal near Brecon. Our room had a restful view across to the hills. The room was comfortable , clean and well furnished. The owners were very helpful - plenty of suggestions for walks and other outings - and we enjoyed our cooked breakfasts. The EV charger was reliable and good value. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay here, we were extremely comfortable, we felt well taken care of, had beautiful views, delicious breakfasts, and thoroughly enjoyed the local area. We didn't want to leave! We would definitely recommend staying here, and would love to return one day!

Another lovely few days at Ty Newydd in the Brecon Beacons. Excellent hospitality and very good breakfasts. A comfortable room with great views of the mountains. We will be back in the autumn.

A lovely place to stay. Easy to get to but very quiet on a canal. Warm comfortable house with great breakfast. Would happily return.

This was our second visit to Ty Newydd, and it was just as we remembered - welcoming, comfortable and with spectacular views across the canal to the mountains beyond. Generous hot breakfasts set us up beautifully for walks in the hills and the room was warm and cosy to return to later in the day and the conservatory was a lovely space for relaxing with an afternoon cup of tea. We enjoyed eating traditional pub fare at The Royal Oak in Pencelli and had a superb meal at The Three Horseshoes in Groesffordd. Thank you Rachel and Sid for a lovely stay - we hope to be back again!
