Excellent stay topped off with some decent weather. Property ideal location for day trips round north Wales. Property very comfortable and ideal with walk in shower for those who can't step into a bath.

I have just returned from a week stay at Benar cottages with my family. We had a fantastic time. The cottage was in a beautiful location with fantastic views. It was clean, comfortable and was well thought out with all the essential items you need for self catering. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

The location was excellent for anyone wanting to explore North Wales as it was close to the coast, Snowdon and other attractions like zip world. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be close to Betws-y-coed but wants to be in a more peaceful rural location.

The cottage is a wonderful escape and has beautiful views over the valley. Just far enough to get away from it all. :-)

From initial booking through to checkout every element of our holiday was excellent.
Booking and check in was simple. The welcome pack on arrival was appreciated (great homemade shortbread was delicious)
Location is perfect for exploring the Penmachno valley or the forest, which is accessed from the property, or for exploring further afield.
We visited in October so the evenings were cooler. The cottage has really efficient heating which makes for a cosy evening.
The kitchen is well equipped as is the bathroom. There are laundry facilities too which were most useful after a few days on the hills!

Thanks to Paul and Daniel who are perfect hosts (there if needed but not intrusive in the slightest)

Yes we will be booking again!

For several times in a row now I've stayed at Bwthyn Meillion and it is always great to be back here again.
The cottage is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped.
The location is beautiful and the walks in the surrounding areas are highly recommandable.
Thank you Daniel and Paul for your kindness and hospitality and of course the lovely welcome tray.
I will be definitely back next year.

Our cottage was in the middle of two other cottages converted from the old milking shed. The cottage was comfortable and cosy and very well equipped. The views from the patio were beautiful. Each cottages patios are screened from the neighbouring cottage. The location is very quiet with only the sound of sheep breaking the silence. Good location from which to explore Snowdonia NP and beyond. We looked forward to returning to the peace and tranquility of the cottage at the end of each day. Very good value for money.
